Chapter 8- Unexpected Surprise

Sonic was already up. It's was around 7:30 in the morning. He walked over into Tails room, to see if they were asleep. Surely enough, they were both awake. "Morning Sonic. Sleep well?" Cream asked happily. "Yup. What about... You..." His voice slowly began to fade, as he looked at the AC. "Umm... What happened to your air conditioner..?" Sonic asked shocked.

"Oh, our room was too hot, and the AC wasn't cool enough. So Tails used his Smarticles to modify it." She said smiling with her eyes closed. "Wow, we slept fine." He looked over towards the window," umm Cream... You do know it's be pause you left the window open right?" He said trying not to laugh. "Oh... Well I guess we'll be chilly for the next five days huh?" She said embarrassed."oh Cream. You're such a card!" Sonic said laughing. "Well Amy isn't up yet. I just wanted to see if you both were." "Well, Tails is in the bathroom getting ready."

"Okay. Tell him to drop by our room when he gets out." "Okay. See ya later Sonic." She said as he walked out. He turned around in his room, and saw Amy waking up. "Morning Ames." He said trying real hard to hold his laugh in. Because her quills were sticking up everywhere. "What are you smiling at?" She asked grumpily as she looked in the mirror. "Oh my god! Was I drunk last night?!" She freaked out. "Ehh... Ya." He said with joy. "Well, let me get ready and we'll head out." She walked into the bathroom.

Split second afterwards, Tails walked into the room. "Morning Sonic." "Sup bud. Nice AC you got in there." He said sarcastically. "Well I TRIED fixing it.. Okay more like modifying it." He said smirking. "Ha, well Cream left the window open so that's why it was so hot." He said laughing. Tails stared at him with a straight face, then looked back in his room. He saw the window was open. "Well, it's gonna be cold now!" Tails said laughing.

"Amy is getting ready, when she is done, we'll head out to grab some breakfast." "Sounds good. Cream, you can come in of you want." He shouted softly through the door. She walked in, with a short orange top, and a pink skirt on. She had her hat and sunglasses on too. "I'm all ready!" She said happily. Tails just stared at her. Feeling like he was going to drool at any second. Then Amy stepped out. She had a pink sleeveless top on, and short jean shorts on. Then Sonic stared at her. "Sonic I packed you something decent to wear." She said grinning.

"We're in Hawaii! You don't need to wear your scarf! Here!" She said handing him his old Basketball jersey. And a pair of shorts. "Oh, well thanks Ames! I haven't worn my jersey in a long time!" He said smiling. He put them on, and they walked out.

"Where are we eating breakfast at Amy?" Cream asked.
"Umm... I don't know. Where do you want to eat Sonic?" Amy asked him. "Well, there is a place that serves everything. Not just sea food." Tails quickly responded. "All picky over here, will eat is chili dogs and my food!" She complained pointing to Sonic.

"So? Your food is amazing! And so are chili dogs..." He said rubbing his stomach. "This place has everything. Even Sonic's favorite breakfast." Cream said happily. "Well that's pretty much our only option then." They all looked at Sonic. He just rubbed the back of his neck.

When they got to the restaurant, they saw the bright red and yellow sign that said: "Big Lagoona!" So they walked on and waited to be sat down at a table. They finally got chosen, and were sat at a table. "What can I get you all to drink?" The waitress asked.

Sonic: "I'll have a sweet tea please."

Amy: "I'll have just a water." She said still feeling kind of drunk.

Cream: "And I'll have a ice tea."

Tails: "and I would like a thing of milk please."

"All righty. I'll be right back with your drinks." She said smiling. She walked of and everyone started talking. "So Cream, if you're going to college with Tails, what will you major in?" Sonic asked. "I want to major in art. I love painting... And cooking!" She said full of joy.

"We always did love your cooking Cream." Amy said happily.
"Here are your drinks." The waitress said as she walked back. "Okay, thank ya ma'am." Tails said. The waitress winked at him. That's when Cream stopped talking, and glared at the waitress. "Cream... Calm down." Tails said. Sonic was trying to hold his laugh in. Amy kept hitting him to make him shut up.

"Cream... Calm down. All she did was wink. Heck she could have been winking to Sonic!" He said. "Wooaahhhh. Nuh uh. Don't pull me into this." He said. "I don't care. I don't like her." Cream said upset.
Everyone took their order with another waitress, and she walked off. "Thank god it wasn't the same waitress." Tails whispered into Sonic's ear.
"Yeah, Cream looked like she was going to kill that girl." Amy said into the conversation." That's when Cream walked back. "The next waitress better not be her." Cream said sternly.

About an hour later, everyone finished eating, and left the restaurant. "Cream, what was that back there?" Tails said kind of upset. "I just, didn't like her winking at you." Cream said upset. Tails kind of felt bad then. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that." He said sad.
"You're okay. I just didn't like her.." She said smiling again.

"Hey guys, do you see that flying thing up there?" Sonic asked curiously. "Yeah, it's coming awfully close." Amy said worried. Then it started heading straight for the group. "Get down!" Sonic yelled. As he pulled Amy down. And Tails pulled Cream down.

It landed right in front of them. Landing kind of in an Iron Man position. "It's... A person?!" Tails yelled in fear. It started at the group. That's when the beach they were on, started loosing people. They were leaving frightened.

"What is it?!" Amy yelled scared. Sonic jumped in front of her, to protect her. It looked directly at Sonic. "I... Am you." It said creepily. Sonic even looked at it in fear. That's when it had a Bunch of weapons pop out of it's arms. And it began to fire.
