Love Is a Strong Word Part 4- Sonamy Saga

Chapter 14- Home

"Okay everyone! We are almost home!" Tails yelled. "Yay!" Both girls screamed. They looked out the window, and saw the city of Mobius. "Home!" Cream yelled. "Ah, finally. It'd be nice to be out of here." Rouge complained. "You said it. I haven't gotten to sleep in an actual bed in days!" Tails said. "Even though my lap was comfortable." Cream said winking to him.

"Yeah. I can't wait to sleep in an actual bed. These seats aren't comfortable to lay on at all!" Sonic said. "Yeah, and I can't wait to lay down next to my Sonic again." Amy said faintly to him, crawling back under his arm. She laid her head on his chest, like she always did.

"Look there's our house!" Cream said as she hugged Tails. "We are dropping everyone else off first, so we can just return the X-Tornado to to mansion." Tails said to her. "Let's drop Sonic off first. He still is injured. He just doesn't want to admit it." Rouge said smirking. "Mleh." He said back.

They landed at Sonic's house to drop him and Amy off. They had they help Sonic off carefully so he could walk to the door. "All right, come on Sonic." Amy said as she opened the door. She waved back to the jet as it took off.

"Sonic, can you walk?" Amy asked. "Yeah, I think so." He took his arm off her and started heading towards the stairs. "Ahh!" He yelled as he fell down. Amy ran over to him quickly. "All right Sonic, you can't do anything right now. You need to stay in bed." She said a sadly because she wanted to hang out with Sonic.

She sat him in bed legs first, and slipped him in. "I'll go call and order some pizza." She said smiling, before she kissed his bruised forehead.
She walked downstairs to grab the phone, but she looked on the couch. Shadow was sitting there relaxed.

"Don't you have anywhere else to be!! Stop doing that!!" Amy yelled frustrated. "Tails assigned to to help you look after Sonic." He said to her grinning. "I can handle it myself!" Amy yelled at him. "Listen, I don't like him a whole lot, and neither does he to me. But, I do care for him. So I am here to help." He said serious.

"Well... I guess I respect that. But don't you have any place to live! You always sneak in here!!" Amy said back on the subject. "Yeah I got plenty of places to go. Like here, Tails house, and the old mansion." He said sarcastically.

"Ugh! I hate you!" She yelled which made him smile.
"I know, that's why I asked him to assign me." Shadow said winking at her. "Oh. And Knuckles and Rouge said I'm always welcome there. Which is where I've been living. But I've slept here a lot, you just haven't noticed it." He said laughing.

"You idiot! So that's why the guest bed room was a mess." She complained.

"Amy, what's all the yelling?" Sonic said carefully trying to come down the stairs. "Sonic! You should be in bed!" Amy yelled upset more than usual. "Oh, sup Shads." Sonic sails calmly. "There's a guest bedroom down that hallway." He continued calmly.

"You're letting him stay here!!!!" Amy yelled more angry than usual. "What'd I tell ya." Shadow said laughing. "So Shadow, why are you here?" Sonic asked. "I was assigned to help keep you in check." He said grinning at Amy. She just had a cold stare at him. Shadow went back to serious for a second. "Besides, what would Silver had done?" He said calmly.

That made Sonic smile. It actually brightened Amy up a bit too. "Okay. You can stay." Amy said happy again. "Shadow, I hope you're hungry. We ordered pizza." Amy said happy again.
"Sounds fine with me." He said closing his eyes and relaxing on the couch again. So Amy ran to the phone, and called the pizza place.

"All right boys, I'm leaving to go get the pizza." Amy said with a smile on her face. She walked back downstairs and saw Sonic and Shadow were both out cold on the couches. She was heart warmed for how they were asleep. She walked over to Sonic, and kissed him on the forehead. And over to Shadow, and pulled a blanket over him.

"Pff, I guess I have to be a mom around here for a while." She whispered softly. She then left to go get the pizza.
