Chapter 4- Old Times

7:00 A.M
"Sonic." A soft voice said. "C'mon Sonic, time to get up." Amy's soft beautiful morning voice said. Sonic always loved waking up to her morning voice. It was always calm and happy. "Get up or I'm going to have to tickle you." "Mmeehhh." Sonic said not wanting to get up. "Okay, you lost our chance." She started tickling him. "Aahh!! Aaahhh! Okay okay! I give!" He yelled laughing.

"That's what I thought." She said laughing. "Let's go eat breakfast. It's been ready for about five minutes." "All right." Sonic said grabbing his scarf off the table. They headed downstairs to eat. Amy made eggs, bacon, and hash-browns. "Mm my favorite." He said looking at Amy with joy.

When they finished eating, Amy got ready for work. She put her dark purple business type jacket one, and put her dark purple pants on. "By hun, see you when I get home. "She said kissing him on the lips. "See ya Ames." He said smiling as se walked out the door. "What am I going to do today?" He asked himself, sitting on his bed. He saw a note on the counter. It said "if you get bored, start setting out the stuff from the moving boxes. Love you! Xoxo."

"Oh great.." Sonic said with fake enthusiasm. "Well before then, I guess I'll just mess around. I know! I'll call Knuckles to see if he's busy." So he pulled his phone out and began to call him. "

"Hello?"

"Hey Knux, you busy?"

"No not right now. But around noon I gotta unload some stuff. If you want, you can drop by and help."

"All right sounds good. I'll be over there around ten."

"See ya then."

"See ya."

They both hung up. Sonic didn't want to know while he waited. So, he just went for a walk in the park. He saw all the happy people, and walked on by. He saw Cream running her clothing store. She looked back at him and waved at him with a friendly smile. Which basically means c'mon in Sonic.

So he walked into the store, to talk to Cream. "Well hiya Cream!" He said with joy. "Sonic!" She yelled as she ran from the counter with joy. She ran up and hugged Sonic. "Whatcha up to kiddo?" He said with his greeting smile.

"I'm running my new store! I opened it about a month ago." She said happily. She looked back at Sonic. "It's just so good to see you! I haven't seen you in what, two years?!" He yelled. "I know it's been a while! You sure have grown into a pretty girl." He said. "Awe, thanks Sonic!" She said as she hugged him again.

"What about you? Whatcha doin walking around alone?" "Well, Amy went to her new job too. So I'm just walking around chilling. Looking for something to do until I go over to Knuckles'." He replied. "Oh okay! Where is she working?" "Real estate. She's selling houses around Mobius."
"Oh nice. Aren't you working?" She asked.

"No, but I am looking for a new job. Can't have Tails provide for me forever." He said while laughing. Then Cream began to laugh. "Well, I better get going. Just wanted to see what you were up to!" Cream ran up to him and hugged him like last time. "Bye Sonic! I'll tell Tails you stopped by!"

He waved back as he walked out. It's was still only right, so he walked further into the park. He saw a nice shady tree, and rested under it. He closed his eyes, and accidentally dozed off. He woke up, not realizing he fell asleep and looked at his phone. He saw it was 3:00.

"Oh my god! I have to get going!" He said as he ran home. She he got to the house, he saw Tails and Cream sitting with Amy. "Sonic! Where have you been!" Amy yelled. "Sorry, I kinda fell asleep under a tree." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

He looked over at Tails and grinned. "Heya Tails! How's it goin bud?" He said excitedly. "Pretty good! Man, how long has it been, two years?!" He said to Sonic. "Yeah! Look at you two! All grown up!" Sonic replied. "Yeah, Cream has turned into a beautiful bunny, and Tails is a very handsome young fox!" Amy said happily.

Cream looked at Tails with a smile. "Tails, tell Sonic about our college choice." The thought of college already made Sonic smile. "Well, I put a form in for Emerald College." Sonic just lit up with happiness. "That's great Tails! I hope you get into it!" Sonic said just full of happiness.

"Yeah, I'm actually kind of looking forward to college now. It's sounds kind of fun." Tails said cheering up. "Oh, and I might go too!" Cream yelled with happiness.

"Good! College would be nice for both of you!" Amy said happily. "Yeah.. Well we better get going back to my place. See ya Sonic." He said walking toward Sonic. They hand shook like he and Knuckles did. Cream ran up and hugged him and Amy as always. "Bye Sonic! bye Amy!" She said smiling. She then closed the door.

"Well they're just lovely together." Amy said politely. "They are. Tails always did need someone to watch over him." Sonic said messing with Amy. "Hush! They're great kids!" She said messing around. "Yeah they sure are. They're going to do great things some day." He said as he looked at a picture of Tails and Him. "Well, you aren't off the hook anymore. The kids are gone." Amy said smirking.

"You didn't unpack the boxes..." She said angrily. "Ehh! You said if I got bored! Which I didn't! I fell asleep under a nice tree!... Which would actually be a nice place for a picnic.. Like later this afternoon." He said, know she can't say no to that. "Really! I'll pack some food!" She ran into the kitchen. "Gets her Everytime." He said winking.
