One week later and exams were over at the University so Taeil was finally free from monitoring the examinations. One week later and that one encounter with his neighbor Johnny and he haven't seen the latter since. It was as if he went ghost again, maybe Taeil was exaggerating or maybe he was too busy with monitoring exams to realize his neighbors presence. Yea maybe that's it.
The Social Science Lecturer was gathering up the rest of the last exam he had this term papers. The last exam he had to monitor for the term was Financial Accounting and he was glad he didn't understanding anything he saw on the paper. He was more of the theory or history type of person, he could tell a whole auditorium on where accounting deprived from and what people did before it, but the practical aspect? No, Taeil rather avoid it.
When he was finished stacking the papers, he left the exam room closing it and headed to the staff room to put the second years papers where the other exam papers are kept in order. All his exam, Social Science examinations and some Psychology, papers were on his desk waiting to be taken home to be mark and graded. He can already feel the stress running face first into his body. He had a special bag that he carried the papers and assignments in when he had to take them home to mark and he is now gathering them into his assessment bag.
He would get a 'Hi' here and there from colleagues or small talk from them, from him wishing them good luck to them wishing him the same because who are they kidding, they needed all the luck in the world to recovery from this term. Why are the students increasing so much each year? It's like the first year classes are getting larger each year which is both good and bad. Good, because it means that the University is becoming a number one choice for undergraduates and it's doing extremely well academically. Bad, because more young adults, more stress trying to keep their attention in which Taeil doesn't even know why he was trying to obtain because he is still getting paid and it's their money so if they don't want to listen why force them? He does it because he knows they have potential, they just need to grow the fuck up.
Taeil was now walking down the corridor with his assessment bag full of exam papers to grade, to his car with the rest of his necessities that he usually kept at the University. Students called to him, waved at him and he waved back telling them to rest well, that they work very hard and that it will be shown in their grades when they are out. Some of his top students in his class from all years stopped him to have a short conversation with him in which he didn't hesitate to stop and indulge in their conversation. He laughed with them and said his goodbyes and see you next term and so forth. It was really lovely being a lecturer.

His fiancee wasn't home again which he is by now and by far way too used to. He's honestly at a point where if he saw Eun at home when he arrived he'd think something is absolutely wrong if he does come home and see her. She hasn't been home so often since they moved here and he doesn't know if she is busy preparing everything for the wedding or just out doing whatever all he knows is that he really wanted to see her more often and that's the main reason he he moved in together.
He sighed and rest his assessment bag on the couch then went to close the door. Well that was his intentions until a certain ghost person was at his door smiling or rather smirking at him for some reason. Taeil is wondering right now, right this moment when his neighbor is standing right infront of his door.. 'Why didn't I shut the goddamn door?'
"Neighbor! Long time no see. " Johnny smiles and invited himself inside, pushing pass Taeil who didn't have the energy to argue, so he closed the door with them inside.
"It's just been a week."
"Oh. So you've been counting? I see someone missed me."
Taeil rolled his eyes folding his arms in front of him while Johnny turned around to look at the shorter.
"Why are you here?"
"Harsh much. I saw you come in so I approached you. Is that bad?" Johnny tilted his head a little.
"I'm sorry, I'm just really tired. Do you want something to drink?" Taeil was walking towards his kitchen in his navy blue socks. Johnny realised he still had his shoes on so he took it off leaving it at the door. The Taller followed the shorter to the kitchen.
"Sure. Can I have you?"
Taeil stops, turns around looks at Johnny, blinks then turns back around and opened the refrigerator. He had to bend a little to look in the fridge but that little was good enough for Johnny to ogle at his ass and know that his neighbor had a nice ass at that.
"You look like ice tea person, so ice tea for you" Taeil throws the drink at his neighbor who caught it on reflex.
"Great catch."
"Thanks. Nice throw."
"Yea, I know. I'm highly skilled, no need to flatter."
Johnny laughs at what Taeil said who took out a bottle of water and closed the fridge walking back towards his living room with Johnny behind him.
"So, where's your wife?"
"Oh she is my fiancee."
"Glad for the clarification." Johnny smirks opening the bottle and sipping the drink. It's good.
"Anyway, she's not home. Must be out preparing for the wedding. I don't know how it works, and I don't want to know." Johnny nods then spoke.
"So you're home alone?"
"Mhm, pretty much. If you're trying to murder me, I'd kill you first before you take my life. Just saying." Johnny laughed really loud this time.
"You're pretty relax for someone that thinks I might be a murderer. But trust me, Moon Taeil."
"I'm not gonna murder you." Johnny said with a sultry voice. Taeil scoffs then laughs and stops abruptly which caused Johnny to bump into Taeil's back.
"Like a killer would tell his killeree when they gonna strike." Taeil continues walking as if he didn't just cause traffic jam a minute ago.
"True." Johnny replied while Taeil sits down in the sofa, throwing his head back when his body hit the softness of the sofa.
"Ughhh.." Taeil groaned then he whispers. "I'm exhausted."
"What do you do?" Johnny sat beside him still drinking his ice tea.
"I'm a lecturer at Sun and Moon University. I teach Social Science."
"Ah, really? I'm a Psychology major there."
Taeil sits up and looks at Johnny. 'what did he just say?'
"I have never seen you before and I also sometimes teach Psychology at the 4th year masters level. What year are you?"
"I'm doing my Masters. I'm in my second year. Before you ask, I'm a kid genius so I'm 23."
"I'm older than you btw, why are you so informal? Call me Taeil hyung. I'm 28."
"Ohh, I see someone likes the hyung kink."
"Okay lose the hyung."
Johnny smiles at the shorter male and they continued to talk until Taeil fell asleep. He guessed he was really tired, no joke. Johnny stayed there for almost 3 hours, and in those 3 hours that Johnny had talked to the older until he fell asleep, lift the older male up and rest him better on the sofa to nap and even when he put him shoes back on and left his neighbor home closing the door, Taeil's fiancee didn't come home.
Was Taeil even engaged? Was he lying? He's only back from his parents for over a week now. That's probably a short time to assume. He'll just wait a little longer. Before he reveal his true intentions.
