When Taeil finally woke up from his slumber it was 4:23 am. 'Was I that tired?' he thought to himself while blinking to get the blur out of his eyes. It took him 5 minutes to finally see clearly, so he sat up in the sofa and stretched his muscle looking around. He got up, completely forgetting how he ended up sleeping in the sofa and drank the water that was on the coffee table. Now that he thinks about it, he hasn't eaten anything but breakfast the other day so he should really get something to eat and luckily food was in the kitchen. His Fiancee must have cooked and left it for him because he was sleeping. She rarely cooked, Taeil found out went they moved in together, but it was okay not everyone likes to cook and she wasn't bad at it either.

While grabbing utensils to eat a very late night 'snack', he suddenly remembered talking to his neighbor. When did he leave? He should really get some rest because recalling certain memories now is becoming poorer. They were having a heated conversation before Taeil blacked out. Johnny was a cool person to talk too and was very flirty, but Taeil took it as a friendly gesture with no meaning behind it.

What he doesn't understand though, is why hasn't he shied away from Johnny? Taeil wasn't a very talkative person, scratch lecturing because he had to be talkative there, but his Fiancee was which has been so helpful since this prevented Taeil from talking majority of the time which was deemed great in his mind. He thought he would be awkward with his neighbor but was surprisingly not. Maybe it was because they were interested in the same area of studies and Johnny was doing most of the talking. Yea, that must be it.

Taeil reheated half of the food Eun cooked for him in the microwave for three minutes. In that three minutes he was staring out the window. He intended to close the curtain because it was open but then he saw that the lights were on over at his neighbor Johnny's house. 'Does he always wake up this early?'. He didn't realize he was staring for long because then he heard the microwave go 'ping!' so he shut the curtains and attended to his late night dinner, early morning breakfast.

"Taeil you're home today?" Eun ask her fiance when she was in the kitchen drinking her daily dose of coffee.

"Yea. Exams are finished so I'll be home marking papers and grading them. I was in my office why you didn't see me." Taeil smiled at his soon to be wife.

"Oh I see. Anyway, I won't be here today again. The wedding planning is really taking up a lot of time." She was staring at Taeil while saying this and sipped her coffee after.

"I figured." Taeil walked over to her and kissed her forehead and grabbed a water heading back to his office.

"I won't be back tonight. I'm staying at a friend." She smiled sweetly placing her cup in the sink and walking to the bedroom. Taeil was kind of taken off guard for a moment and just replied.

"Okay."

He went back to his office and just sat in his chair. He sat there for 35 minutes staring into the ceiling thinking about whether he had made the right choice. He had never been the type of person to do anything reckless but he is really second thinking his decisions now. Was he ready to marry Eun? He does love her, he knows that but he really does feel like he rushed into things too quickly. No, if he loves her it doesn't matter. While in his thoughts he heard the 'click' from the main door, that means his fiancee just left.

Taeil rest his head on the table and closed his eyes thinking, oddly, about Johnny and the coincidence of him majoring in psychology. Five minutes into his thinking, he heard knocking at his front door. Taeil got up puzzled wondering who was at his door. He made his way to the front door and opened it and to his surprise it was his other neighbor.

"Good morning Mr. Moon. May I come in for a minute?" His neighbor said with a pleasant smile.

"Morning Mr. Jung, of course." Taeil step away giving his neighbor Taeyong way to come into his home.

"So I'm here to tell you about a party, or rather a small get together that me and my husband always arrange at our house each year and we would love for you and your fiancee to come."

"Hmm.. I'm not sure, I'm not much of a party person."

"Oh come on! It won't be anything too big, just a small gathering. You can get to meet other persons from the neighborhood. It'll be fun!" Taeyong says with much excitement. "Please?"

"Okay, why not. When is it?" Taeyong squealed a little which caused Taeil to flinch.

"Oh tonight!"

"Oh I'll be there, but Eun won't be able to make it." Taeil said with a sad smile barely noticeable. Taeyong figured. She was always out but he figured it must be wedding preparations. Yes, he snoops on his neighbor. What neighbor doesn't?

"Oh I see. Well I hope you make it, I'm looking forward to seeing you!" Taeyong was making his way out the door when Taeil asked him something.

"What time should I come over?"

"Oh Johnny will come and get you. Don't worry about the time. Bye!"

"Wai-!" Taeyong was already out the door and it was closed before Taeil could ask further questions. He'll just text him later. Now, what to wear is the problem.
