A week and a half of not seeing his tall neighbor, cooped up in his house marking and grading papers as if he had limited time in getting them done when in reality, he had more than adequate time to complete that paramount task. Busying himself and conscience at the moment was his main priority so all the students that took his course would be getting their online grade earlier than expected even if they didn't want to actually see their grade that early. Let's be honest, Taeil knew majority of the class were dreading their final grade because his course wasn't particularly 'easy' as everyone assumed.
A week and a half of 'avoiding' his tall neighbor, has been successful for most parts. He hasn't left his house often since the 'incident' just to circumvent the younger at all cost. It wasn't easy though because the younger came knocking on his door every chance he got calling his name in a desperate tone that almost, and he means, almost made him open the door for the latter to talk to him.
However, from the start of this week, he haven't heard from the psychology student, which he was both elated and desolated at which was very conflicting. Why was he even sad that the younger has stopped coming over to his house creating a clanglour of banging on the door? If he was being honest, he was actually lonely.
Eun had came home three days after the party, giving his visible hickeys adamant time to revert back to its natural appearance or close to it, and left a day after and to be quite candid Taeil has had enough of her just staying out like that, he needed her to be home and keep his company and fill the lonely void he has been trapped in since they moved in together. Wedding planning does not consist of her needing to stay out, he paid a wedding planner for a fucking reason and that reason being it lessen the work for his fiancee. So why the fuck does she need to stay out? Taeil is about to find that out.
Eun came through the front door when Taeil was in the kitchen, seated on the kitchen stool after refilling his jug to take back to his office, absolutely livid.
"Where were you? You didn't even tell me you were staying out 'again'." He placed emphasis on the 'again' spitting venom. He was frustrated and Eun showing up right at that moment just brought him to the brink of enraged. His appearance spoke differently though, looking poised and calm as he question his fiancee.
"At my friend. Am I obligated to tell you everywhere I go and who I stay with?" She asked matter of factly, facial expression unmoving as she discarded her shoes and went into the bedroom to unpack her bag in which Taeil followed her, leaving his jug of water on the kitchen counter.
"Are you obligated to tell me everywhere you go and who you stay with? Hah, no but it would be nice to know seeing that we're getting married soon. And being reassured of your safety would be lovely too, so you know, I don't worry unnecessarily. I guess you don't really give two fucks seeing that was your response." Eun scoffed right after the lecturer said they were getting married. What is happening right now?
"Well as you can see, I'm quite fine, no need to worry. I am a grown woman after all." Taeil stopped in his track when she stopped at the bed unpacking her belongings, seeing a purple spot by her ears. He couldn't believe it, it can't be what he actually thought it was? Is she-
"W-what's that b-by your ears? That p-purple spot." His calm demeanor beginning to fade as he waited for an answer. An answer he was distraught at and the pit of his stomach churned uncomfortably. She froze to her spot raising a hand by her right ear where she assumed the spot was and that confirmed something for Taeil. She laughs, body jerking as she caressed the spot in which the bruise was at. She spoke under her breathe but the brunette heard it quite fine.
"I told that idiot not to leave a visible bruise.." She turn around to face Taeil with a smile on her lips as if the matter was amusing to her and he wanted so much to smack that fucking smile off her smug face.
