When Taeil arrived at the 'small' get together he initially thought that it would be 'small' like about 15 people the most, and it appeared Taeil was right.. But, he was oh so wrong as soon as he stepped through the door behind Johnny, he immediately regretted his decision. Do these amount of people even live in this neighbourhood? This was ridiculous.

"Omo, Taeil you caaame!"

Taeyong basically ran-dodged his way over to his new neighbour, bulldozing through the slightly thick crowd and loud music. He hugged Taeil and swayed him from side to side and in the process, loosened his hold on Johnny. Yes, Taeil was holding Johnny's hand tighter because he didn't want to get lost; or so he told himself.

"Yea.. um, so I see my small and your small are com-plete-ly different." Taeil had to yell over the music into Taeyong's ear. The slightly taller male laughed with his beautiful smile and let go of Taeil. It seemed as if he was drinking, does he smell vodka?

"Well, this is small. You should have seen it at our previous house before me and Jaehyun moved here." What?! He led Taeil over to a light brown sofa in what Taeil assume is the living room and told him to sit.

"Wait here okay? Don't move." Yea right, as if Taeil would move from here, he didn't have to be told that twice. His ass is glued for the rest of the night so he might as well get comfortable.

While sitting in the sofa and swiftly avoiding being squished by two teenagers making out, he finally, after five minutes, realised that Johnny was nowhere near him anymore. Where did he go? Where the hell did Taeyong go is the real question.

Did Johnny ditch him? Well that's mean of him, it's not like he wanted to be here. The least he could have done was be decent enough to let him know his job is done for the night, which was to bring Taeil over to Mr Jung's house, which by all means he could have gone there by himself. Well this was fucked up. He was not only ditched by the ghost delivery boy, Johnny, but now Taeyong has ditched him.

"Taeil?" The Social Science lecturer whipped his neck around to the sound of the voice, and he wasn't quite sure why he felt so happy to see the taller male that had accompany him here, or delivered him rather, but all he knew was that he was pleased to see him.

"I called your name like five times, do you want something to drink? Taeyong won't be back here anytime soon. He feels the need to greet every living soul that walks through his front door. I wouldn't be surprised if a cat showed up, right now at that door, and he greeted it, showed it inside and told it to enjoy itself." Taeil smiled at Johnny genuinely for the first time and to say the taller was taken aback would be an understatement. His smile was so beautiful and ethereal, he just wanted to save it only for his eyes to see.

"Sure." With an unreadable expression, Johnny walked away to get some drink for himself and the elder.

Taeil sat uncomfortably wanting to leave so badly, but he really didn't want Taeyong feel sad or even disappointed that he left as soon as he came. So he decided that he will wait an hour before making an excuse about marking papers and what not then leave. He wouldn't exactly be lying, even though he knew he was finished marking papers for the day, or night rather.

"Mr. Moon?" Was heard over the blaring music coming from somewhere Taeil preferred to stay unknown to him, and he looked up to see his friend and colleague, a Law lecturer, Kim Dongyoung.

"Oh, Dongyoung? What are you doing here?" Taeil smiled brightly at the male and stood up to embrace the latter into a friendly hug but somehow, like always, Taeil tripped and his colleague caught him wrapping his arm around him.

"When are you not clumsy?"

"When you don't see me."

"Touché.." They laughed together and Taeil stood straight on his own to chat with the other male.

"Seriously, why are you here?"

"Jaehyun's a high school friend I've known for years, so he always invites me every year since he and his husband moved here. This is actually a reunion party, gone out of hand." Taeil nods in understanding, and a little surprised. But they know this much people?

"You must be wondering how they know so much people. Thank Taeyong, he is a social butterfly with friends of all ages and doesn't like to leave persons out. He is really sweet to be honest." There this god damn rabbit goes again reading his mind. He has known the male for four years now and he still doesn't understand how he does that without batting an eye. Maybe he should wear a metal helmet like magneto.. But that was true though, his neighbor was overly friendly but weirdly not to a point it annoys someone.

Taeil rolled his eyes and fold his arm then spoke. " Will you stop that that?"

"Stop what?" The law lecturer walked closer to the shorter male, leaving little to no room for the friendzone. "You look great Taeil hyung. Who fixed you up? You don't look homeless anymore. I almost didn't recognize you." With a cheeky grin, Dongyoung held Taeil's chin with his hand lifting his head up to meet his gaze. The shorter sported a pout with flushed warm cheeks and slapped Dongyoung's hand off his face.

"Buttface!" Taeil stomped away like the child he really is deep down, leaving a hollering in laughter Dongyoung behind to go outside which was surprisingly not as noisy as inside. "And stop calling me hyung!" Taeil yelled over the music to his fellow colleague with deepened flushed cheeks that he hid from the younger.

After Dongyoung came down from his high, and wiped a stray tear from his cheek. He really loved the elders reaction which is why he always teases him every chance he gets. When he finally calmed down, he thought to himself.

"I've been calling Taeil, hyung for years now, plus he was the one who told me to call him hyung. Now he wants me to stop?"

Taeil had completely forgotten that Johnny had went for a drink for him and he didn't see the other male staring at him conversing with another man, with a evident frown on his face.
