She sighed. "It's hard sleeping in a place like this. You should find a home soon if you don't want to live in mine." She said, sipping on her strawberry milk.

"We already actually found a home, but the owner is at Japan. We can't just barge in, we need to wait for her to go home. She'll be home at like... one and a half weeks?"

"Oh." She nodded. "I told you, you should keep warm first. I mean, you can't just freeze here to death, right?"

"No need. You've been giving us food everyday and giving us money to spend, that's enough for us. As long as we have decent clothes and food, we're alright."

"Not for me though," She sipped on her milk. "But okay, whatever you want." She chuckled.

"Eonni!"

A little girl shouted, calling out for Abbie.

"Sarang-aaaah!!" She reached out her arms to the little kid.

The girl hugged Abbie, and pulled away after. "Eonni. I saw your boyfriend outside a big mansion. It seems like he's putting some chocolates in front of the gate. The gate was soooo big, it had a roof on top of it with some lights attached to it. But he left right after, and I saw a smile on his face."

"Oh." She chuckled. "Really?"

"Yeah. Are you sure he doesn't have another girlfriend?" She frowned. "Because if he does, I will smack him to death."

Her mother slightly smack her daughter's arm, saying, "Ya." And she looked at Abbie right after, smiling. "Sorry, this kid's just a little embarrassing."

"Ah, no. It's okay." She grinned.

"Eomma, I'm gonna play there."

"Okay." She let her daughter go.

"Also," She said as the kid merrily runs away. "Does your kid go to school?"

"As you can see. She doesn't go to school. We don't have any money for her tuition. She used to, but we dropped her out last December. She was supposed to be grade 2 by now. But I'm earning for it, I want her to graduate from college. I don't want her to end up like me. We used to be like you. We used be rich, because my parents are. But it was all my fault that we lost it all."

"Mind to share why?"

"I had a boyfriend when I was 13. And I got pregnant with Sarang when I was 18. So my mother and my father kicked me out of the house, leaving us homeless. Poor. All them were gone. Even my boyfriend is now gone."

"I- I'm sorry to hear that."

She sniffed and wiped her tears, shaking her head. "It's okay, I sure will handle this. Just a few more days and our sufferings will end. My sister wanted us to live with her. But as I said, she's in Japan. All I have to worry about is Sarang's tuition."

Abbie nodded.

"And thanks to you, Abbie-ssi, because you're making it easier for me. I don't know why you are helping me, but I'm really grateful. Like, really really grateful. I can't thank you enough. It's such a great pleasure to meet someone like you. And I hope you won't think of me as a materialistic woman." She chuckled.

Abbie did as well. "I don't. I thought you needed it desperately more than I do, that's why I helped you. Okay?" She rubbed her back.

Abbie smiled. "And it's such a pleasure meeting you, too."
