Chapter 13

-Izuku POV-

I woke up with a head ache in my bed. Luckily, it was the weekend so there was no school... No one was in my room so I'm assuming a bunch of people decided to go out. I sat in my bed, trying to remember what happened. I was drunk. I know that. I was upset that (Y/N) would never see me as anything other than a friend, then...

Then I went to her room. And...

Did I really do that? As it dawned on me, and remembered what I did to her, dread flooded through me.

'Oh my god she's going to hate me'

my brow crinkled as I stumbled out of bed, still in the same clothes as yesterday. I ran out of my room and down the stairs, only to run up the girls', hoping that (Y/N) was in there so I could explain myself. I knocked on her door. No answer.

'She's either out, or won't answer me...'

I hated myself for what I did. I groaned and leaned my head on the door.

I made my way back down the stairs to the living room and kitchen to go up the boys' stairs. I stopped, seeing a certain (h/c) girl sitting cross-legged on the kitchen counter, waiting for something to heat up in the microwave. She brought her knees up to her face when we made eye contact and doubt filled me as I uneasily walked up to her.

"(Y/N)... I'm so sorry"

She nodded in response as the microwave stopped and she took out her popcorn.

"I'm not mad Izuku, you were drunk and didn't know what you were doing. I'm just...I wish you hadn't..." she paused. "why did you?"

I fidgeted, knowing I couldn't keep hiding my emotions from her, but I didn't want to scare her and hurt the relationship we currently have. I just treasure her so much.

"(Y/N)... I"

Everyone came crashing into the room, some giggling and arguing. Normal for the 1-A students.

Uraraka came over to (Y/N) "(Y/N)! you're awake! We all decided to go to the mall and go shopping so.. ooh! Did you make popcorn?? Can we share?" she asked, jumping up and down. (Y/N) giggled. Music to my ears.

"sure" she said with a grin. She looked at me and whispered as she walked past me "we'll talk about this later"

-(Y/N) POV-

Uraraka, Momo and I all watched Your Lie in April in our dorm, crying and stuffing our faces with popcorn. My phone began ringing so I excused myself to take the call.

"o-jo-san , is everything okay?"

Rin Nakamura was our neighbour. She had a daughter and would occasionally ask me to babysit. This, was one of those times.

"yes dear, I was wondering if you were free tonight by any chance?"

"yes. I can come and keep an eye on Futaba if you'd like"

"that would be a great help. You may need to bring someone else over, she has had quite a bit of sugar today so she may be a bit of a handful. Around 6- thank you"

"no problem"

With that, she ended the call. Now I needed to find someone to help. Well that's easy, I'll ask Izuku.

'I'm not mad at him... I was just surprised and I really need to know what's up with him'

I went back downstairs where everyone still was, talking about numerous things. I made my way over to Izuku and dragged him to the side.
