Chapter 31

- Time skip to the weekend –

We all walked out of the school gates to get to the mall, dressed and ready. Clusters of the students walked together, all chatting about things they needed for the camping trip.

"Let's see... I need bug spray and...um some socks..." Uraraka droned on as I listened to her going on and on about the types of bugs she saw last time she went camping. She was sandwiched between Izuku and I, whilst I had Iida on the other side of me. We all carried on talking about the types of things we needed, and eventually made it into the mall after a 15 minute walk.

The class started splitting up accordingly to the shops they needed to go to. Eventually, all that was left was Izuku and I. We looked at each other and he let out a nervous chuckle.

"do you want to go around together?" he asked shyly.

'now this is like the old izuku I know' I thought as I smiled at him.

"come on" I said getting a head start in the direction towards the sports shops. He followed closely behind me, unsure of how to act even though we've hung out by ourselves plenty of times before. I came to a halt just outside the main department store for sport stuff.

"hey Izu what exactly do you need?" I asked, turning to face him.

He quickly looked up at me, pink dusting his cheeks. I stepped closer to him "Izuku you don't have to be nervous. We used to hang out all the time remember?" I said giving him a familiar smile. He looked down at the floor

"right" he mumbled. I let out a sigh and grabbed his arm "lets goooo" I said shooting my other arm up into the air as if we were about to embark on some kind of mission, trying to relieve the tension he was feeling.

I dragged him into the store 'god I'm becoming Katsuki' I realized and quickly dropped Izuku's arm.

"I need some new shirts actually... some of my old ones got ripped apart when I used One For All"

"that's not the only thing that got ripped" I said under my breath

"huh?"

"nothing" I waved my hands about dismissively. "okay lets go find some shirts"

We walked around for a while before finding the clothes section of the big sports department store. We split up and collected shirts each then met up in front of the changing rooms. I handed him my stash of t-shirts

"you have to come out each time and do a fashion show for me" I said

"W-what? No!"

"no?"

"fine"

I grinned as he trudged into a room and drew the curtain. I sat down on one of the nearby chairs and looked around me, fidgeting with the hem of my shirt.

Guys i'm so sorry i didn't update last week I was so swamped with work and coursework and I know this is quite short but hopefully I will have some time to write more since half term is coming up
