Abby's POV:

"Who are you?", A man with honey brown eyes and dark brown hair came up to me, "I-I'm Abigail, but you could call me Abby if you like. I'm pretty sure i'm your new assistant", I stick my hand out for him to shake. He looked me up and down, "Yo! Abby!", I heard a familiar voice behind me.

I quickly turned around and saw my best friend Tyler, "Aye! Posey!", I smiled and ran to hug him. We did the cliché movie thing. We met in the middle and he picked me up and we spun around a couple times. He finally set my back down, "Oh my god! You look great Abs!", Tyler smiled his natural smile that could light up a room in a second.

"Awe, Ty you don't look so bad yourself!", I replied. "You know her?", The man with the honey eyes asked, "Yeah! Of course I do! Abby here is my childhood bestfriend!", I smiled at the guy. "Oh, well... I'm Dylan, good to meet you Abby", Dylan awkwardly said. I let out a nervous laugh. "So! Um, lets go then Abby", Dylan said.

I smiled back at Tyler one more time and then walked off with Dylan. "So why'd you want to be an assistant? Especially for me", Dylan said. I shrugged, "I don't know. I needed a job so I could make a living for myself". Dylan stopped walking and turned to look at me, "What? So am I just a job to you? You didn't even want this job, did you Abigail?", My name rolled off his tongue sourly. I stopped as well taken aback a bit. "Excuse me?", I asked, "Of course I wanted this job. Sorry for trying to live". Dylan scoffed, "Can you at least get me a coffee?".

A couple months later

"Hey Abby!", I heard Dylan's now familiar voice behind me. I rolled my eyes and turned around. For the last couple month, Dylan's been nothing but an asshole to me. "Yes Dylan?", I asked, already slightly annoyed. "I need more coffee. Like, a lot more coffee. Abby Abby Abby please?", Dylan started talking insanely fast. "You do not need anymore coffee", I said, lightly placing my hands on his shoulders to keep him from bouncing around.

"No no no, Abby you don't understand like I need more coffee", Dylan said once again. 'Don't give him anymore coffee. I doesn't need it, just look at him', my mind told me. His sad brown eyes had finally taken me over, "One cup. And that's it", I said. Dylan nodded excitedly and smiled slightly. "Thank you thank you thank you Abby! I'll see you at my trailer", Dylan ran off towards the set.

I went to the nearest coffee shop and got the usual Dylan always wanted and a cup a water for myself. "Knock knock", I said, my fist colliding with the thin door to Dylan's trailer. The door opened and Dylan was there, looking at me with a disgusted face, "I brought your coffee". "What? I... I didn't ask for any coffee?", His face turning confused now.

I groaned, "Dylan you were on a high earlier and asked for more coffee and then I got you one cup". Dylan took a second to process everything, "Can you come in here for a second?". I nodded and stepped inside the trailer. "I'm really sorry. You're not gonna completely understand this because i don't know how to explain it. But i just want you to know that I'm not actually an asshole. I've just been really stressed out, you know, with The Maze Runner and Teen Wolf and a lot of other things", Dylan paused. I nodded my head for him to continue, "And I've figured out that I like you, a lot Abby, i didn't mean to be a dick to you or even act like one", Dylan sighed and sat down in front of me.

"Dylan...", I said softly, "It's okay Abby. You don't have to say anything, I know", Dylan sighed. My heart broke, "No no no, I-I like you too. It's just... I don't think I could date anyone right now", I explained. "W-what? Why not?", Dylan looked up at me. I felt tears stinging my eyes, "Because, I'm... I'm scared. Very very scared Dylan", I stood up, putting his coffee on the counter and then leaving the trailer. I felt a few tears fall on to my cheek as i made my way to my car. "I'm sorry Dylan. I really really am", I told myself, hoping that somehow, he would understand.
