slight trigger warnings

-

It was 9:50pm, when you got your powers. You were almost 13, and it just happened. One second the night was clear and then next it was pouring down rain. You could control the weather. Your mind racing, trying to become happy so the rain would quit, something at least. Nothing worked, so, you let yourself be angry and sad. As you calmed down, so did the rain, and then it stopped all at once.

-Present Day-

"Hey Pete!", you said to your friend as he passed you in the hallway of Midtown, "Hey Y/N". The sun was shining as bright as your smile and you planned to keep it that way, until Gwen showed up to your locker uninvited. "Hey girls look, it's Ms, Freak", Gwen said, trying to make you upset but you wouldn't let it get to you, not yet at least. "What do you want Gwen?", you asked, annoyance lacing your voice.

Gwen smirked, "Honey, you know no one would anything from you, so stop thinking your better than everyone, including me. Because everyone here knows that you're nothing but a pathetic loser who has no one to support them in whatever they do", Her words were like knives, only digging deport into you with every sentence. You rolled your eyes, "Why can't you ever just leave me alone Gwen? Why?", you asked rhetorically not even wanting an answer, but she gave t to you anyways.

"I'm never going to leave you alone because you walk these halls thinking your the queen of everything and everyone, but your not, and you need to wake up and realize that", Gwen said, her finger in your face. So you lost it. The first thing you heard was the lighting that almost took out the power. "You know what Gwen? I've never acted like I was the queen of anything, but you wanna know who does do that? You, you do Gwen. Just because your the head cheerleader doesn't mean you get to parade around the school hurting whoever you like because you 'didn't like what they were wearing'. You're not the queen of the fucking world. So maybe YOU need to wake up and fucking realize that", you finished by slamming your locker shut and running out of school, despite the pouring rain you caused.

The tower, you needed to get to the Avengers' tower to control what was happening. Natasha could help you, she always made you smile when something like this happened. Once you got to the tower, you made you way to the elevator and pressed the button for the training room. "Natasha! Nat?", you called out, hoping your favorite redhead would be there. "Y/N?", a timid voice called. You knew that voice anywhere, "Pete?", confusion written all over your face as you saw the brown haired boy step out for behind the wall.

"Wait- what- Peter. Spid-, holy shit," you barely got out. "I know, w-would you believe me if i told you it was a costume?", It almost sounded like he was trying to cover up something. "You're, Peter you're Spider-Man?", you yelled. "Why are you here? Are you Mr. Stark's secret kid?", Peter rambled. "Secret kid, what the hell?", you asked. Peter finally stopped talking, "Okay, so... you're Spider-Man? For real?", you asked. "Yea, but, but why are you here?", Peter asked. You sighed, no one but the Avengers knew about your powers.

"Well Pete, I- uh. I can control the weather", You said. Peters eyes went wide, "WHAT?", he yelled. I heard rushed footsteps, "Y/N, is that you? FRIDAY said y- oh", Natasha came around the corner, seeing Peter in the Spider-Man suit, and you, knowing why you were here because of the sudden thunderstorm.

sorry for the awkward ending.
