A Year

It's been a year since he left to work on American Assassin. It wasn't as horrible as you'd thought it would be. His co-worker has spoiled the surprise by telling you that he'd be coming home. So you cooked up a prank with your best friend.

"She thinks you're a hallucination, Dylan. She doesn't know you're real", Your best friend spoke to Dylan.

You could already tell that he was stressed out by the way he was talking

"But the doctors said she would be fine. That'd she remember.." He trailed off.

"I know but her memory's been real messed up"

You dried your hair. You couldn't believe it, he was actually back. After you got back you pretended you hadn't heard a thing.

"Hey Y/N", your friend spoke. "I heard you talking to Dylan..".

You smiled

"Yea.. he just kind of appeared.. you know how it is", You talked like he wasn't there

"How was he?", She kept on, like you planned.

"Hey.. you don't have to pretend like he's here", your voice barely in a whisper.

Then you pretended that he appeared again.

"Oh hey you!", You said with a smile on your face.

He smiled back but it didn't reach his eyes. You sat on your bed and ate a little bit of food.

Then you snorted like someone said something funny.

Your friend looked at you like you were crazy.

"Sorry"

You went back to eating and listening to your friend.

Then it happened again, Dylan's face was just so funny to you.

You finally turned to look at him.

"Did you really think that I didn't know you were here?", You started laughing.

Dylan tackled you in a hug and started kissing you.

That night, all of your guys' friends had a Welcome Home party for Dylan, since it had been so long since he'd seen some of them.

Tyler Posey wandered over and took Dylan away from you, but you were happy because Dylan really missed all of them, he just didn't want to admit it.

Michael, his co-star, walked over and admired Dylan with you. Tyler was hugging him, it was very emotional since Tyler is his best friend.

"He really missed you Y/N" Michael said, "He talked about you all the time too".

You nodded, Dylan was smiling wide on his way over.

"Hey baby..", he almost whispered.

"Hi", you replied and put your head on his shoulder with his arm around your back.

"Whaddya say we bounce?", Dylan voice hoarse

You nodded, he grabbed his car keys and you guys were on your way...
