"Ahaha just like when we were toddlers". Hugo says as he smiled sweetly at me.

T-oddlers?? What does he mean?

When he realised what he said he looked at me...

"U-uh my mistake ehehe, what I meant to say is... That it's just like whe--". But I didn't let him finish.

"Hugo no! Am I missing something here?? Everything that has happened just made me very curious!!". I said with frustration.

"First of you called me vi before! Then your father said something about remember stuff!! And now that!?!? What do you mean Hugo? If your going yo try and change what you said, make sure it's the truth!". I said while looking at him intently.

He sighed and looked away.

"I wanna explain". Hugo mutters in defeat.

"You may do so". I said.

"Do you remember Althea?". He asks.

"I-I do not". I answered.

"Thought so... Do you remember Vi?". He asks again.

"N-no".

"Do you remember me?". He asks.

"What a foolish question, yes of course I remember you!! Why wouldn't I!!". I said.

"Do you remember the toddler me?". He asks again.

"I believe we haven't met during our toddler days Hugo". I corrected.

"That you are mistaken Soffy... We met before". Hugo says hesitantly looking away from me.

"W-what do you mean?". I ask.

"You are Vi, I used to call you that since I thought that Violet suits you the most among all colors, Althea... She was your teacher before, my mentor that's how we met before...". Hugo explained.

Because of that I became speechless.

This explains why I love violet the most.

" That's why... When we bumped into each other the first day of school, I was furious that you would forget about me but... When I knew the truth when Althea came at school and your mother talked to her, I heard everything and was in pain". He explained further.

"I-I I'm sorry... I never tho--". I didn't get to finish because...

"No don't be sorry, it isn't your fault... Its just, I didnt knew the real reason on why you don't remember me, that's why I was being mean to you, but when I knew I decided to change things since I want to make new memories with you... Something that you'll remember, it painfully reminds me of the times we were together when we were toddlers". Hugo explained.

"Now the one that should me sorry is me no--". I didn't let him finished and hugged him.

"I guess I now know why I missed you 2 time than I normally would... Something seemed familiar every time your around, not just that but ever since you came my life became lively". I said to him and smiled sweetly.

He pulled away smiling sweetly at me, and I the same.

For some reason this is the most happiest thing that has happened in my life for more than 4 years.

I know that this isn't the right time to say this, and it might ruin our friendship. Especially when we just met together again but I don't wanna get to attached and be in greater pain later so...

"H-Hugo, ever since you left I've finally realised something...". I looked at him in the eye and smiled bitterly knowing his reply. "I-I l--".i wasn't able to finish when...

We pulled out as I heaved a sigh and rested my head onto his chest.

"I love you too Soffy, I always did". He says warmly, sending shivers down my spine because of the vibration of his voice. " Well I probably did, I was the first one to love you than you, ya know". He teased therefore ruining the moment.

I laughed.

"Well because of me, this have happened". I said.

"I was about to tell you, you just beat me too it!". He says.

"Well that just means it's because of me!!". I said in defence.

"Yeah because of you!". He says in defeat. "And because of you, I wouldn't be standing here happily". Hugo says.
