Charlie has always had an active imagination. But waking up in a completely different realm can be a little concerning, don't you think? Well, not for this eight year old. Anywhere other than his home was amazing basically. It all started when he wa...
On his way to the valley, Charlie stumbles upon an odd looking bush. It had blue leaves and red berries on it. He heard a noise come from it, and hesitantly stepped towards it. "Come out, buddy.. I won't hurt you.." He assured it. He coaxed it out of the bush and realized... It wasn't just your ordinary cat. This cat had the wings of an eagle. "Oh- hey hey, buddy!" Charlie stutters. It purrs and oddly, replies, "Hi!" Charlie falls onto the ground in disbelief. "Hold on a second.. Say... 'pretzel'," he tells the cat. "...why? Pepperoni is better," It responds. "Earth to human boyyy.." the cat says, trying to annoy him, "Speak up, child." "I-I just..You're a cat...with...wings...And you can speak," Charlie thinks aloud. "No crap, Sherlock," it remarks. "Who are-" "Thunder." "Huh?" "The name? Yeah. It's Thunder." Charlie gives Thunder a confused look. "..Why?" "Embarrassing..." Charlie shrugs and continues his journey to the valley. Soon enough, Thunder catches up.
"Buuut! If you wanna know.. It's cuz when I fall out of my tree it sounds like thunder. Heh heh." He continues to fly aside Charlie. Charlie ignores him partially, but laughing at his name's history. "You can't..be serious?" He asked. Thunder nodded. "Yup. Thaaaat's me! Gosh.. I'm hungry.." Charlie gave him the stare. "Oh reeeeally? By looks, I don't think you'll die of starvation any time soon." "Hey!" Charlie giggles and skips the rest of the way to the valley, Thunder following him.
