"Kingdom of the good!" Charlie shouts out from the highest tower of the castle. Everyone's eyes turn to him and he nervously swallows. "The queen..is dead.." he begins. Akuji huffed as he heard people gasp. "In order to defeat Abaddon we need a new leader!" A bunch of "hooray!"s and "yeah!"s broke the silence in the massive crowd. Charlie spotted Tabitha and Melody from the very center. They smile at him and he returns it. "So, fellow good creatures, I will be your king!" Everyone went silent. Tabitha and Melody rejoiced, however many disagreed with this.
"An eight year old ruling a kingdom?? How ridiculous!" An elderly fairy spat. Her husband seemed to agree. Tabitha frowned and marched towards them, "Why hello there! I don't think we've met. I'm Tabitha! And that eight year old up there happens to be one of the coolest people I know. So shut your traps or I will." She stomped off and Melody looked up at her in confusion. "What happened, Mommy?" She asked. "Nothing dear."
The crowd began to get wild. One small group of about 5 gnomes tried to climb the tower to overthrow Charlie. "SILENCE!!" Charlie bellowed. A wave of air ripples around him, causing the once-furious mob to be thrown back, and become scared and subjective.
"Listen!! I know this seems crazy, but I know what I'm doing! For gosh sake, I even tamed his friggin dragon!!" When he said that, all of the things there simmered down. All ears were listening intently. "Ok. So far, I have temporarily frozen Abaddon in time. He could awaken any moment now, and when he does, he'll flood our kingdom with his armies. I'm going to take up volunteers to build up a militia! Anyone?" No one said anything. Crickets chirped.
"I'll do it," said Tabitha as she stepped forward out of the crowd. "Tabi-" Charlie began. "- I will too." The man who had once helped him at Firefly Forest stepped out as well, and soon enough more and more volunteered.
"I can't believe I'm doing this.." Charlie mumbled under his breath. Akuji perked up his ears. "Hm?" "Nothing, Akuji." Charlie stepped further onto the balcony and used Akuji's roar again to gain their attention. Eyes were on him immediately. "We don't have much time! Akuji will train you all to become the strong warriors that you claim you can be! Training starts now!" And with that, he slammed the doors shut as he went inside, leaving Akuji clueless.
"Ok..." Akuji shrugged. He jumped all the way from the 30 foot balcony to the ground, and growled at anyone in his way. "Everyone follow me!"
