After a few days of sleeping on the cold stone floor of the room, Charlie had had enough. He went to the door and grabbed the doorknob and pulled. It was locked. "UG! I'll never get out of here!!" He whined. "You're the chosen, you can do as you please," Shirley comments. "Yeah! That's right! I'm the—" Charlie imagines himself gaining telekinetic powers. "CHOSEN!" He finished his sentence and the door flung open. "We're free!" Shirley rejoiced. "Sh! Not if you keep yelling!" Charlie argued. Just then he heard the familiar snarl of a beast. Akuji. Charlie didn't mind him though.
He casually just walked out of the room as if it were nothing, and found Akuji standing his guard on the opposite side of the hallway. "Hey!! How'd you get out!!" He shouted. He ran full-force towards Charlie and Shirley. Shirley started hopping away, but Charlie stood his ground. He concentrated on the glowing yellow eyes, and seconds later, the manticore practically froze. It was as if Charlie has paused time, but it was apparent that he didn't because Shirley was still fleeing. "Come here you big baby!" He called. Shirley stopped and turned around to see that the manticore was stuck.
Akuji eyed them as they walked past him, all the while Charlie was smirking deviously ear to ear.
"W-where to now?" Shirley stutters. Charlie, still holding his grin, ignores him but keeps walking to the Royal Chamber, not blinking even once.
The heavy, once-chained doors flung open wide to reveal the king sharpening his sword. "Ah..Charlie..So good to see you my boy.." He grinned. Charlie stood there, an evil glare in his eye.
King Abaddon: ??
Charlie slowly took a long, thin sword from a nearby knight armor stand. "Charlie..That's pathetic," Abaddon laughed. Charlie held his glare, step by step, slowly nearing the king. He walked to the king until he was at his feet. He swiftly looked up at Abaddon, and without another word, he drew the sword and swung....
