"Where even are we?" Thunder asks, as they walk down a path in a field. Charlie shrugs, "I thought you'd know!" "I'm hungry..." Thunder says out of nowhere. "You're always hungry." Charlie says, pulling something out of the backpack Tabitha had loaned him. It was full of bandaids, a small pocket knife, fruit snacks, and 4 water bottles...and a few other miscellaneous things. He pulled out a pack of gummies and tossed one at Thunder. "There. That's all you get for now, until we find somewhere to rest at least."They kept walking for around 20 minutes until they got to a stopping point. The path was wide enough so that if they rested, they didn't block anyone's way. So, they sat down and Charlie set his backpack down again. "So where are we headed to?" Thunder asks, breaking the silence. "I dunno. Somewhere," Charlie responds, stuffing his face with gummies.
They hear crackling in the fallen limbs and twigs nearby. "Let's go see what it is," Charlie says, setting down his snack and standing up. "Are you kidding me? You know what happens in the horror movies!" Thunder argues. Charlie rolls his eyes, "This place is supposed to be perfect... Riiiight?" "Well, not exa-" Another noise interrupted him, followed by a snowy owl flying out of the brush and out of sight. "Well that was odd," Thunder and Charlie said simultaneously. Charlie sneaks a little bit farther, just to see where it went. He discovered that it perched on the arm of a beautiful woman, wearing a long elegant dress.
"Woah..." He comments under his breath. Thunder follows him and gasps. "We need to go.." He says, biting at Charlie's sleeve. The woman hears him and turns to look at them.
"Well hello there. I've never seen you before," She said, approaching Charlie. "U-uh..I'm C-Charlie.." He smiles. "Nice to meet you, Charlie," She says, stroking the owl's head. "My name is Queen Serenity."
