(Previously..

Charlie hid in the darkest depths of the cave, where no light reached at all. The dragon gave up on him, but held Queen Serenity captive. "STAY HIDDEN CHARLIE!! I'LL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS!" Were her last words before the dragon took her away..)

"NOOO!" Charlie reached out as he watched his amazing guardian get murdered before his eyes. He slid down against the wall and sat down to cry. He looked down in defeat and stared at his hands. "...Serenity.."

Suddenly, his hands started to tingle, and his palms gradually let out a golden light, getting brighter by the second. The light swirled around him, lighting up the whole cave. It was flowing like water and it went further into the cave. He looked up at the dragon to see that its eyes turned gold. "Go away....." said Charlie, sniffling and wiping his eyes with his sleeve. As if he were his master, the dragon wasted no time getting up and flying away. Charlie listened as he heard the wings flapping in the air. He looked up once more to see that it was gone. Standing up and nearing the entrance of the cave, he saw that the dragon truly left the entire area. It wasn't even guarding he castle or anything. Not saying that others weren't.

Charlie stepped out the cave. The kingdom felt odd with the king not..yelling..insulting..You know, being not frozen in time. Akuji stood waiting at the palace gates, looking at Charlie- possibly proud, possibly thinking about killing him.. "Akuji! Come!" Charlie shouted from afar. But the manticore only stayed at his post. Charlie re-enacted what happened with the dragon. His hands glow golden and so do Akuji's eyes. Charlie takes the voice out of Akuji and uses his roar.

The load and thundering roar sounded throughout the canyon, and Charlie fell back astonished. He looked at Akuji and grinned. He was already halfway there.

"How the—" Akuji trailed off and panted while looking at Charlie. "We have to go to the castle," Charlie states, looking off into the distance. "Come on."
