The In-Laws 1

Ming's POV

Oh my God! The time has finally come to meet the in-laws. Well, I already met them however as a Kit's friend and not a boyfriend. And now, I am his husband! I am not prepared nor compose nor calm. I feel that I am having cold sweats for too much nervousness. My heart is pounding so fast and hard as if I can hear it. How will I tell them? "Hi, I'm Ming, Kit's husband and soon to be father of your grandchildren." As if I can tell them that! You gotta think Mingkwan. You have to get their blessing and approval. You know how much Kit loves his parents. My Kitkat felt how nervous I am or how shocked I am after the call. Oh, right. I forgot to tell him about the phone conversation.

Kit: What's wrong MMs?

Ming: They will come here with your family doctor. **I said nervously.**

Kit: They? Why are you so nervous. **My Kitkat's eyes widen.**

Ming: Yes, "they" are coming.

Kit: You mean? My pa-parents?

Ming: Yes, my Kitkat. Your parents.

Kit: It's too soon.

He lay his back against the headboard of the bed. He is speechless and he is thinking the plan of attack. My Kitkat cannot get stress over this matter. His pregnancy is too fragile, I cannot take the risk. I will think of a plan how to do this. I faced my Kitkat and took his hand and look at him deeply in his eyes.

Ming: My Kitkat, you don't need to stress over it. It is not good for the baby. Let us just face them head on and tell them the truth. No matter the outcome of their visit, I will love you just the same. I will not leave you. Ok?

Kit: No matter the outcome, we will stay together and have our own family.

Ming: I hope it will go well. Let me prepare and call the room service to clean this room and order our breakfast. I need to get down for a bit to reserve two rooms. What do you want for your breakfast?

Kit: Hmmmmm, I am craving for waffles and bacons with lots of syrup and butter, and one hot chocolate.

Ming: Woooooh! Too much sugar in the morning my Kitkat?

Kit: I am craving for it and the baby wants the same! **He is pouting**

Ming: Ok, your wish is my command! Hehehe

I kissed his lips before I stood up and called the room service to clean the room and serve our breakfast. I waited for the room service to arrive so I can open the door for them since my Kitkat cannot walk for a moment and need the rest that he can get before the in-laws arrive. The room service arrived and brought our breakfast. We are eating our breakfast as the attendant started to clean the room and the bathroom. I also asked for a change of bed sheet and comforters.

After we eat, I carried my Kitkat in bridal style going to the bathroom so I can wash him on the bath tub. This is our first bath together as a couple since last night is not considered a shower nor a bath. We are being showered by our own uncontrollable lust and strong desire for each other. Too bad, we cannot do it today or for the next four months since my Kitkat is pregnant. Not that I am thinking that is a bad thing, if I can only describe the tremendous joy I feel right now thinking that my Kitkat is pregnant with our baby. Wow! Our baby.... As I scrub my Kitkat's back, I touched his belly and I felt that the baby kick. My Kitkat took my hand and put it on the area where the baby is as of the moment.

Kit: Hi baby, this is your dada. I hope you wouldn't get his playboy genes since he is too good looking. I hope you can get his patience and his gentleness. He is sweet and understanding.

I felt a tear on my eyes as I can feel the baby moving in my Kitkat's tummy and lay my head on his shoulder as I cry with tears of joy.

Ming: Thank you my Kitkat. Thank you for giving me a baby. Thank you for making a family with me. I will love you the rest of my life and this baby. I will never leave you regardless if the world is against with us.

Kit: I love you too Mingkwan. At first, I was scared but thinking of you being at my side blew all the worries away and it was replaced by extreme happiness that I am starting a family with the man I love. Thank you for loving me Mingkwan.

I took my bath with my Kitkat and carried him at the edge of the bathtub so I can dry him up. I carried him back to the bed so I can get a change of clothes. I called the reception area and reserved two rooms before I forget it. We are cuddling in our bed and talking about how will we get through this summer and this coming semester as we wait for their arrival.

Ming: We need to get a bigger apartment since we need to get another room and find someone we know who can take care of or I can take a leave of absence so I can stay with you 24/7.

Kit: I don't want you to take the leave of absence and hold half a year of your education. I want somewhere that is near the university and the dorm so you can go home as soon as possible. The only problem is the one who will be with me while you're in school.

Ming: How about..... **My phone rang and I answered the call.**

On the phone with Kieng:

Ming: Hello Kieng.

Kieng: We're here at the hotel. What room are you in? They want to meet you first before they can settle their things at the respective rooms. You did reserve two rooms, right?

Ming: Yes, I did. I will give you the card keys once you get here. Do I need to meet you downstairs?

Kieng: No, stay with Kit. We'll go there.

Ming: Ok, our room is on the third floor and the room number is 302.

Kieng: Ok, got it. We're in the elevator now. See you soon.

Ming: See you.

All I can think of at that moment, the greatest battle in my life has come.
