Kit's POV

I am here in the room lying on our bed and getting anxious of what's happening to Ming with my parents and Kieng in the living room. I was trying to get out of the bed but my lower body's strength hasn't returned yet. I was about to call out for MMs when Kannika our family doctor came in our room and filled in the details.MMs is being interrogated alone in the living room and I cannot hear what they are talking about.

Kannika told me that my parents know our relationship from the very beginning when we visited at home. They thought that the visit is about marriage preparation or MMs meeting my parents to introduce himself as my boyfriend. However, they did not confront us since there were more important issues to address first. They also know about the wedding yesterday and was able to watch it on a phone in a theatre setting (We have entertainment room with big flat television) and it's all thanks to Kieng who was able to record it. Kannika asked me to lift my shirt so she can check it with her stethoscope. She put the stethoscope on my stomach and started checking every part of it. Her expression changed.

Kannika: Kit, I need you to relax. You don't need to get worried about Mingkwan since your brother told me that your parents like Ming and they are just testing him for your sake. It is more for their sake instead of yours. Besides, it's not good for the babies. 

Kit: Babies? **My eyes widen for what I just heard.**

Kannika: Yes, babies. I checked it further on my end and found two heart beats. Let me setup the ultrasound for confirmation. Just give me few minutes.

I am still shocked of what I heard. About everything! About my parents knowing my relationship and my marriage to MMs and to the very fact that they are testing him right now when I am not by his side. But get a grip Kit, Kieng is there and both of your parents are nice and humble so they wouldn't do anything that's drastic to your husband. That's what I keep on telling to myself. You have to think positive. All these negative thoughts are not healthy for the baby or babies. I touched my tummy and felt another kick inside. I am sorry baby or babies. I will trust your Papa on this one.

I was waiting for any sign of movements or struggle outside but damn they are too quiet. I tried to peep outside the room but all I can see is all four them are sitting in the living room and facing each other. I can see my parents' faces and the back of the heads of MMs' and Kieng's. I cannot read my parents' expression but they look scary and serious. The only time I see them this serious is when I decided to take up medicine and live in a dorm. You can do this Mingkwan. I trust you to fight for us. Kannika finished setting up the portable ultrasound and brought out an ultrasound jelly to put it on my tummy.

She applied the jelly and spread it aorund my stomach and started to use the ultrasound as she looked for the location of the babies to confirm if there are really two of them. And there they are!! I saw my babies moving inside as if I can feel them looking at that thing of the ultrasound waving at me. I started to cry a little bit because I cannot contain my happiness. However, I am surprised after seeing how big they are already. It just happened yesterday, isn't it?
