Natalie awoke late that night to Janice entering their apartment giggling loudly and shushing her company who was also giggling. Natalie opened her eyes and seen a handsome man with short messy brown hair and a neatly shaved face holding Janice up as she stumbled around, trying to lock the door. "Shhh, be quiet or you'll w-wake meh roommate." Natalie watched her fall onto the man only a head taller than she was. He was almost six feet high.

Natalie was beginning to worry about Janice. She had always been a partier and liked one night stands, but lately she had been changing men like she did her underwear. And getting beyond wasted each night couldn't be healthy.

The handsome man's eyes locked on Natalie's for just a second and she seen them flash from green to silver as he picked Janice up and held her upright on him. Her legs wrapped around his waist in response as his hands held her up by her bottom. "That way!" Janice whispered cheered, pointing to her bedroom.

Natalie watched them disappear into Janice's room and the good looking man closed the door behind them with his foot. At least she wasn't with one of Deceit's men, Natalie thought rolling her eyes. He must of been the guy that Truth had sent to watch over her. Figures that she'd bring him home. Natalie internally groaned as she heard Janice squeal. So she headed to her bedroom and shut the door behind her, falling into her bed.

It wasn't long until Natalie woke back up, the sun irritating her. It seemed like she had just fallen asleep. Natalie could smell the sweet aroma of sausage cooking, making her mouth water as she stumbled into her bathroom to take a shower.

After getting the shower and dressing, Natalie walked out of her bedroom and seen the man from last night grinding into Janice while she was cooking. "You're so damn sexy." His deep voice sounded loudly even though he was right in her ear. Natalie cleared her throat and they both looked at her.

"Natalie!" Janice beamed, her face the happiest she had looked in such a long time. "This is Mark, Mark this is my roommate and best friend, Natalie." Janice winked at Natalie and pointed at the man behind her, wagging her eyebrows. "I should of moved to Alabama a long time ago, have you checked out the sexy men here or what?" She chuckled, slapping Mark on the ass.

They all laughed and Mark finally spoke, his voice just as deep as Truth's. But Mark's was more worn, like he had screamed a lot in his life time. He looked to be nearly thirty, but he aged like a fine wine. "Good to finally meet you." He smiled, biting into a link of sausage. "I've heard a lot about you." He winked, talking to her in code about Truth. Janice picked up on this, apparently he wasn't slick enough. She looked in between the both of them, her mouth open and pointing. "Y'all know each other?" She asked surprised. Mark laughed and shook his head. "I'm a friend of Al's. I've just heard him talk about her a lot, that's all." Natalie chuckled and stole a piece of sausage. "Nice to meet you too, Mark."

What was with these Guardians? Did they all have to be drop dead gorgeous? Janice wasn't complaining though, she was eating it up, wrapped up in Mark's tan arms.

Natalie painfully watched as they made out and fed each other breakfast. She had turned the TV on to try and drown them out, but it was no use and ended up going to her bedroom to finish eating. Damn was everyone around her just a pile of horn dogs? It seemed that way. No it didn't seem, it was that way. Just a pile of perverts.

When Natalie began to stand from her bed, to bring the empty plate into the kitchen, someone knocked on her bedroom door. "Yeah?" She called, walking to the door and opening it. Mark stood at her door frame, his lips swollen and hair tossed even more than before. "Damn she's a wild cat." He laughed about Janice while stepping out of Natalie's way so she could walk past.

She nodded in agreement, "She sure is something else," and walked past him to the dishwasher. He was following in step behind her.

"She's in the shower now," Mark said out of breath, "I figured it would be a good time to talk about... things."
