Natalie leapt forward, her eyes wide while her heart pounded frantically and already out of breath. She was back in Deceit's bed, his still body next to hers.
Deceit was laying on his side facing her, his lips slightly parted in a deep sleep.
Her eyes darted around the room, panic surging through her as she attempted to leap out of the bed. But Natalie wasn't quick enough, Deceit swiftly wrapped a heavy arm around her waist and snatched her back into his bare chest.
"Where do you think you're going?" His husky sleep filled voice growled out.
Gold invaded Natalie's thoughts, making her grit her teeth as she tried to push it out, but failed as always.
Natalie thrashed wildly in his arms but accomplished nothing. His grip was too strong on her for her to free herself. "Why do you even want me anymore?" Natalie cried, tears blurring her vision. "Please just let me go!"
Deceit snuggled into her, his hot breath fanning over the back of her neck as his other arm went between her bare legs.
"What makes you think I'd give you to that little fuck if I can't have you?" Deceit whispered, his voice smooth. "I'm not about to risk everything I've worked so hard for so you two love birds can live happily ever after."
Realization dawned on Natalie. It wasn't just a, 'If I can't have you, no one can' ordeal but a bigger picture. She had something to do with the balance, she was sure of it. She just wished she knew what her piece on the chess board was. She wasn't feeling like such a simple pawn any longer.
Deceit's hand rubbed over Natalie's core, making her breath catch in her throat.
"I think I'll just torture you for a little while." Deceit chuckled darkly. "I bet Truth knows everything we're doing right now since his sneaky ass bonded his soul with you."
Deceit began to rub her core firmly in deep circles, making a traitorous moan escape Natalie's mouth while tears began to stream down her face. "I bet he's fuming right now that I'm making his little fuck mate moan."
"You're sick in the head." Natalie spat, squeezing her leg muscles tightly around his hand to try to get him to stop.
"Didn't your mama ever teach you to keep your hands to yourself?" She hissed through clenched teeth. She was sick of being treated like a prized breeding dog in heat.
Slipping an arm out of Deceit's grasp, Natalie swatted blindly behind her, her nails elongating while she tried to scratch or hit him.
But he easily evaded her, pulling his face back and chuckling with amusement while he grabbed her hand.
"Quit flirting with me if you don't want this dick. You're one hell of a tease, Nat."
"Ughhh!" Natalie huffed out, trying to pull herself out of his grasp. He infuriated her to the fullest. Was she just some kind of game for him? She knew he was enjoying seeing her squirm, getting some kind of cheap thrill out of playing on her emotions.
Deceit yawned behind her, his tone growing bored. "Blah, blah, blah, blah." Deceit monotoned. "Got me all figured out, do ya?" he snickered, rolling his tongue over the back of Natalie's neck, sending shivers of disgust down her spine.
"Too bad you haven't figured out how much I love you yet-hence all the jealousy and the way I treat you. But then again, you don't really know me do you? You just assume I'm some twisted man, like you always have since the first time we met. When in fact I'm not half bad, you just need to give me a chance. Things could have worked out a lot differently, but you chose this path in our relationship, not me. You're the one to blame on how I treat you."
