I added a youtube video that goes perfectly with this chapter. The video it's self is irrelevant, but it's the lyrics and whistling that count. So enjoy  Axl's awesome dance moves ;) lmao

Guns N' Roses - Patience. It really inspired me to write this chapter, so please listen while you read.

Silver washed over Natalie's mind, hitting her with the force of a tsunami crashing over her. The gold cuffs around her wrists and ankles began to squeeze her so tightly they were cutting off circulation and bruising her. She could no longer feel the hot steam of the shower beating down over her tired muscles.

It wasn't long until she couldn't feel anything. All she could do was focus on the tunnel of spiraling silver cascading her down into another place.

Natalie could barely make out Truth as he stood in a secluded field, the silver dense fog dancing around her, disrupting her vision. A smile adorned on Natalie's face when she heard him whistling a low tune with his eyes closed, deep in concentration. Comfort flooded her soul from merely the sight of him while the fog was beginning to slowly clear, revealing him.

Beautiful titanium armour wrapped snuggly around Truth's mirrored body, only his arms and head exposed. Forged platinum was inscribed deeply within the breast plate in the unknown language of the Guardians. Natalie's mind was boggled as she witnessed the words began to change as if a translator moved the words around, bending and replacing the tribal words into English:

I, Keeper of the Truth and protector of the balance,

Warrior of the Scale of Truth and Deceit,

Will keep order and prevail in times of crisis.

Any enemy whom so ever threatens the balance,

will be crushed under the wrath of my sword of wisdom.

Sweat glistening off of him from the summer sun, his hair drenched. Natalie watched in awe as he practiced with his sword, moving in perfect structured harmony with it.

The liquid forged diamonds down the fuller of his blade reflected brightly off of the sun as it rang through the air, while he continued to whistle.

He moved with a grace Natalie had never before witnessed, precision and speed that marked a true skilled warrior. Truth's muscles flexed as he wielded the heavy sword with little to no effort, as if it were as light as a feather while he cut through the air.

"Truth." Natalie breathed with a smile, wanting to wrap her arms around him. She had missed him so much.

At the sound of her voice, Truth's eyes snapped open, his concentration broken and his whistling halted. He turned towards her, sword in hand.

Instead of the smile Natalie had expected to see on his handsome face, Truth wore an impatient look as he marched in her direction. His veins bulged as he stalked towards her, his posture and stride the same as a soldier's.

Once Truth reached her, he stopped a few feet from her, his emotions withdrawn and detached. A coldness crept through Natalie, chilling her heart and threatening to release out of her eyes.
