Truth backed away from the window, anger swimming in his bright eyes. He marched to the front door, opening it and slamming it shut behind him in one fluid motion. Natalie looked down and saw that her cat's tail had doubled in size and her fur stood upright on her back. Cookie hissed towards the window. "Wait!" Natalie called behind him, scurrying to the door and opening it again. By the time she stepped a foot back outside, Natalie's mouth fell open and she slowly crept towards the screen door for a better view, the front door left laying wide open.

Natalie braced herself on the wooden frame of the door, mouth still opened in wonderment and fear. Truth was already just inches outside of the silver boundary that protected her home. The horde of locust was spiraling together like a tornado before Truth, remaining locust in the sky quickly joined their comrades in the tornado.

Natalie covered her ears at the loud buzzing of the insects, and continued to watch from the safety of her porch. Truth stood his ground, not a single  muscle in his body twitched as the locust weaved around him in the swirling cyclone of flying insects. Thousands, maybe millions of insects suddenly collided together in front of Truth, creating a sickening crack. Natalie fell to her knees in shock, watching the locust crawl over one another to form the black twitching silhouette of a man in a crouching position. It happened so quickly while Natalie lied on her knees, both hands bracing the door frame.

As the locust cleared, crawling into the man's mouth, ears, eyes, and disappearing around  his back, he stood up straight, beaming a wicked smirk. He stood just a few feet from Truth, completely nude. It wasn't the man in Truth's memory, Natalie had never seen him before. Even though he was nude, the man had an overly large sense of self confidence. Truth was almost a head taller than him, but it didn't appear to threaten him in the least.  Crows feet highlighted the corners of his orange eyes and his long brown hair tossed around his shoulders in the wind. Natalie had to admit he was an attractive man, but didn't dare looked down the V of his lower abs where his member lied exposed. He outstretched a large callused hand towards Truth, Natalie could see the man's veins bulging in his hand and up to his forearm from the movement.

Truth stood feet shoulder length apart and shoulders squared, in perfect posture. With his chin held high, Truth never took the man's hand, just looked down at it as if it were the scum between his toes. "Explain to me why you are in my presence." Truth spat coldly. His jaw clenched tight, enhancing his already strong jaw. The man in front of him chuckled smoothly, his eyes dancing in amusement of Truth's dislike of him.

Natalie snapped her mouth shut when the locust man looked her way and sent her a lustful smile which sent violent chills down Natalie's spine. She shook it off and adverted her eyes away from him, uncomfortable. "Ah, I see." Truth began and Natalie snapped her eyes back up to watch the two. "Deceit is too chicken shit to see me in person so he sends his little bitch to do his dirty work."

The man's smile dropped, "Deceit sent me to bring what's merely his." His voice rasped out, shrill and course like the insects that brought him here. Truth barked out a degrading laugh. "So he sends Sol, the pest and misfortune of farmers, to steal away my Queen?" Truth shook his head and chuckled loudly.

   Natalie gasped, his Queen?

"Not your Queen," The man spoke calmly, his voice crackling. "The Lady of the Guardians." Sol looked back at Natalie, a smile forming on his face. He wet his lips with his tongue and looked back at Truth. "And I can see she has no claim yet." Truth took one step forward and roared in Sol's face like a deranged lion. "I want you to send Deceit a message for me." Before he was finished speaking, silver vapor quickly formed a long titanium sword in his hand. Down the fuller of the blade had white language of the Guardians forged with liquid diamonds beautifully within it. The hilt, made of platinum, was a perfect fit in Truth's hand as the guard of the sword wrapped around his wrist and embedded beneath his skin. The sword was a part of him.
