I was already stressed and it was only the start of the day. My work load on my desk was insane, so much for leaving it for Monday, I thought. Everything has been all over the place at the moment due to preparing for my wedding that was taking place next week, it has been non stop planning for the last couple of weeks, but Jason and Wendy has been helping me. Jason is my fiancée and he his the best I could've ever asked for. He was my high school sweetheart, winning prom king and queen and the most likely couple to end up together. We did, obviously.

After finishing his law degree and me getting a job at the housekeeping agency- as the manager, I sold my house and moved in with him. He got a job quickly, at one of the best law firms in Chicago and things picked up from there. I always wondered how he ended up with me, I mean, I'm plan Jane and he his.... well really handsome. With his rugged looking dirty blonde hair, eyes as blue as the ocean and tall model-like body. He really was quite perfect, he purposed on my twenty-nineth birthday after thirteen years together. I really was blessed to have him. And my sister Megan. She was my polar opposite. Tall(5ft 9), beautiful, with always straight blonde hair- taking after my mother. While I unfortunately took after my father. I was 5ft 5, average looking, with long wavy brown hair- that took me forever to straighten, but my eyes were my best attributes. With my wide attractive blue eyes that stood out, that had to be my best quality. She was more out-going, while I was quiet and laid back. Even with all our differences, I still love her.

"Miss Williams, can I see you in my office?" Mr Thomas- my boss, bust into my office; snapping me from my thoughts.

"Yes sir.... I'd be right with you" I replied nervously. The way he was looking at me told me our conversation would not be friendly. I walked into his office slowly.

"Sit down" he commanded. I quickly sat down.

"As you know, over the last couple of weeks; there have been a higher demand for our services" He began "We needed you as the branch's manager to work with the HR team to help recruit new staffs, since were short of it and you haven't been there. I guess what I am trying to say is that, you have been late to work for uncountable times this few weeks and even when you are here, you don't give the work your all. So that as brought me to this decision. You are fired" He finally said

"What? Fired? How come? Yes I know I haven't been putting my hundred percent, but that's only because I've been busy planning my wedding! You can't do this" I shouted, losing my temper.

"Miss Williams, you have to understa....."

"Understand what? After everything I have done for this company, this is the thank you I get?"

"Miss Williams..."

"Oh stop repeating my last name! I know what it is! You are so selfish and inconsiderate. You sit down with your fat arse and criticise everybody. Who the hell do you think you are?" I screamed at him, already losing my temper.

"Miss Williams I suggest you go and gather all your things and leave this premise before I get the security to help you out" He said

"Don't worry, I'm already on my way" I walked out, slamming the door on my way out.

This was the worst day ever and it had only just started.
