When we get to my flat, Thor goes to look around the place. My flat is big for a New York flat. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The door opens up to kitchen and living room. Off the living room is a balcony. Next to the living is my room, with a bathroom off the side. Further down the hallway, on the opposite side, is a spare bedroom. Further down the hall is a bathroom. Across the hall from the bathroom is another spare bedroom. All the walls are grey and the floor is dark brown wood. "Brother, can I have this one?" Thor points to the room across from mine.
I scuff "Yeah, you can barrow some clothes and get some tomorrow." After turning on the telle, I fling myself on the couch and smooth out my shirt. My new outfit is at the compound for the time being. They insisted on making me a more suitable outfit. Of course, they are to stay to tradition.
Feeling up my horns, I groan. I'm stuck a blue mess for the rest of my life. Forever a few degrees colder than what I was before. The cold that the other Jotun fight with, is controllable. My body will feel different to Zeus... I hope he excepts it...
"What are you thinking about?" Thor asks softly as he stands over me. I practically jump out of my skin.
"Norms Thor!" I huff, clutching my chest to call my heart "Take a seat, don't stand over me like that!"
He picks up my feet and sits under them, placing them on his lap "You didn't answer my question." he says after a long minute "What's going on in the head of yours?"
I shake my head "It's nothing." he gives me a unconvinced look and squeezes my calf "Fine." I sigh "I don't know if my boyfriend will like the sudden change of appearance."
"Boyfriend?" Thor raises his eyebrow at me and I, reluctantly, nod "Brother, why didn't you tell me ages ago?" I shrug and fittle with my fingers "Well..." Thor says after a long moment "If this boyfriend of yours takes it badly, I'll show him the way out..." he points at the balcony "Through that landing."
It takes be a second before I get it and scuff "Zeus shouldn't care about it." we sink into a comfortable silence for awhile.
Then he speaks "Zeus?" I raise my eyebrows "That's his name?" I nod "I like it. It's a nice name."
I clear my throat "Zeus is the name of a Greek god." he nods and we slip back into silence, flipping through channels, before I sigh "Who else is on the other side?"
"Well..." Thor thinks "The Captain, the second in demand Iron Man, Hulk." I groan in recognition "The warrior you saw today, and I believe that's it." I look at him worriedly "After everything, the people of Wakanda wanted to see if anyone else survived." he clears his throat "They left and immediately died. The air outside of Wakanda is way too toxic." he states "Banner says that the dome around Wakanda is suck in all the good air out of the outside."
I sigh "Strange says that Iron Man and Nebula are MIA." he scuffs "What?" he shakes his head and I frown "What?"
"Nothing." he smiles "I just never thought I'd see you use mortal tounge." I frown and he laughs "I never thought I'd see you again. I never thought I'd be in a peaceful place with nothing to do but sit around and watch the news with my brother." me frown softens as my heart flutters "Over the past three months, I've convinced myself that I'd wake up and be on Asgard again. I'd dream that I would visit you in prison and we'd be the brothers we were when we were younge. Looking for voluptuous maidens on the battle field... or in your case... what? Buff Lads?"
I bite my lip "Oh my, all the stunning men that lived in Asgard!" I fan myself and receive a laugh from Thor "How I wouldn't mind being used by any one of those Asgard boys!" I laugh.
He scuffs "You seem happy here brother?" Thor asks as he leans back in his seat to get more comfortable.
"Trust me, when I first got here, I was a bloody wreck." I clear my throat "Before I met Zeus and started acting like a normal mortal, I didn't leave this flat."
"How did you meet this Zeus fellow anyway?" Thor asks, a big smile spread across his face, like the oaf he is.
Wiggling down to he more comfortable on the couch, before changing the channel to some horror movie, I sigh "I went to a bar."
"A bar?" Thor asks and I nod "The Loki I knew would never have chosen drinking over learn a new language!"
"I'm not the same Loki you knew." I state and turn to the movie, which currently has some girl running topless in a hotel, screaming for help. "Honestly, it's pathetic that they must objectify women by sayings this is equality."
Thor smirks "You really aren't the Loki I knew." his grip on my leg tightens "How did you survive?"
"Don't worry about it." he starts to argue, but I don't let her "I did as I alway do." I state "I snaked out."
"Yeah, but how?" Thor asks.
I sigh and change the channel to a crime show "I stood in the shadows while Thanos strangled an innocent man."
"Oh." is all he says, before we slip back into silence. We go back to watching the telle, before he grips my leg even tighter "I'm glad you're alive." he whispers.
He grunts when I kick him in the side "Don't get all emotional you big oaf." he frowns at me "That always ends with me dying."
"I'm not letting you die." he states be looking back to the telle "Not again."
