"Try this." I order as I hand a piece of chicken to Natasha. When she takes it, I turn to pouring the oil into a mason jar.

"Steve would love this." she states, splitting it in half and giving the rest to Clint, who practically through her to the side to get a piece "You'll have to make him some when he gets here."

"Sure." I sigh, before slipping and getting my shirt covered in fry oil "Norms!" I groan, before tossing the pot in the sink "I'll be back. I'm going to change."

A few minutes after I stoke off, I wash my shirt in the bathroom sink, hoping that the oil doesn't ruin my shirt.

When I walk out of the bathroom and into my room, I jump in surprise "Bloody hell do you think you are doing in here?" I ask.

"Well, I didn't want to join the party on the balcony." Strange states, messing with a photo on the nightstand "And the talk in the kitchen was dreadfully bland."

With a sigh, I walk past him and to the cupboard "So, why, exactly, are you in my room?" I gasp fakely "Don't tell me you need material to wank off to?"

As I chuckle, I hear him sigh "I don't masturbate."

"Yes, I understand." I smirk "You need functioning hands to service yourself." With a scoff, I walk out of the closet, a tan three quarter sleeve shirt placed tightly against my turso.

Before I can process it, I'm pinned against the wall and his lips attack mine. Instantly, I bite him. "What was that for?" he hisses.

"You kissed me!" I spit, before confusion hits me and I frown "Why did you kiss me?" a chuckle escapes his lips "What?"

"This is the first time I've seen you stumped." he shrugs "What can I say, I like having power to rive against me." He licks his lips "It would be so nice to have a powerful bastard riding me."

I scoff "Get off of me." I insist as I hear the balcony door slide open "You're just a crippled man with a god complex."

 He frowns "So are you!"

With a failed attempt to keep a laugh in, I burst out in laughter "I'm a god, you arrogant, narcissistic, arse!" with a shake of my head "If you weren't such a wanker and I wasn't with someone, possibly, I'd be into it."

After pushing past him, I start towards the door. A force pushes me back onto the bed and he smirks "Don't use the 'I'm with someone' excuse. You cheated on your last boyfriend."

He walks out of the room, only to be past by Thor "What's wrong?" he asks me as I climb off the bed "Did he fight with you again?"

Grabbing the keys to the run-down garage a few blocks away, I sigh "Don't worry about it." when I walk past him, he grabs my wrist "I'm going to the garage... it's been awhile since I've worked on the bike."

The bike, is an old FatBoy. It's a pale blue and I got it at an overstock sale about four months ago. Originally, it was to get my mind off of Thor... seeing as I thought he was dead.

"Loki..." he sighs "Just be safe, okay?"

"I will." I sigh, before leaving the room. After slamming the front door, I start down the stairs and across the street.

"I'm only a man with a candle to guide me. I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me. A monster. A monster. I turn into a monster. A monster. A monster. And it keeps getting stronger." Music blares through the speaker of the garage as I tighten the gas cap of the FatBoy.

 "Your father-"

"He's not my father!" I snap at Frigga and turn in my cell.

She looks at me, disappointedly "Then am I not your mother?"

It hits like a hammer to the heart and I have to take a deep breath, before replying coldly "You're not."

She gives a scoff and walks towards me "Always so perceptive." she tilts her head to the side softly "About everyone but yourself."

I think for a second, before shaking my head and walking towards her. With a wave of my hand through hers, her illusion is out of my cell. I'm completely alone, and she thinks I disowned her. Much like Odin has disowned me.

"Thor told me you like to have your time in here." I turn swiftly on my heels to find Natasha leaning against a run-down car that even I can't fix.

"Yes." I sigh and toss the empty gas can to the side "I come here to think."

"If I told you what I was, would you turn your back on me?And if I seem dangerous, would you be scared? I get the feeling just because, everything I touch isn't dark enough, if this problem lies in me."

Instantly, I turn the music of with a snap of my fingers and she gives a small smile "What are you thinking about?"

With a sigh, I reply "I was thinking about my mother." I tilt my head to the side and sigh "Adopted mother, anyway."

"What was she like?" she asks with a small smile.

"The best mum anyone could ever have." I nod "She treated me with the same love she did Thor." I look down at my filthy hands "When Odin disowned me and locked me in a cell, she still visited me." I shrug "The last time I spoke to her, we had an argument about Odin." I turn back around towards the sink and start washing the grease off of them "I disowned her that day."

"Well, why did you do that?" she asks, softly.

"She called Odin my father and I was still pissed at him and I snapped." I shrug "Told her he wasn't my father. She asked if she wasn't my mother." I sigh "I only said 'you're not' and shoed her away." a strange bubble forms in my throat, before I continue "She died that day and I lost it."

"Like you lost it when you thought Thor died?" She asks and I stiffen, before turning off the water.

After I turn around, I lean against the sink and cross my arms "And, how, exactly, do you know that?"

She shrugs "I might have watched the tapes." she clears her throat "I believe you are the first person to break through that wall, right?"

"Also the first person to create a whole different reality in there." I smirk, before popping my fingers "Yeah, I was beyond the brink of insanity."

She nods and we fall into a comfortable silence, before I sigh "Come on, they're probably wondering where we are."

On the way back, she sighs "What happened?" I give her a questionable look "Between you and Steven Strange?"

As I hold the door of the apartment building open, I sigh "He kissed me."

She gives a shocked look "What did you do?"

"I called him a crippled man with a god complex." I frown "Just, don't tell Thor." I order "Thor will kill him."
