Chapter 5

Kiba's P.O.V.

The next day after I went shopping with Uncle Trenderman, I was playing with my new toys like my new wolf Luna, and Night in the woods. Daddy was away on a mission deep in the woods and I was by myself because Uncle Trender was busy with his clothes line, Uncle Splendor was out with Daddy, and Uncle Offender was out and about somewhere. I walked out of the house and took Luna and Night with me so that we could all play together outside. I was walking around in the woods that Daddy always guards at night, and I found out why he does: it's so pretty and beautiful. Flowers and trees everywhere you look, and even animals that lived near the house, like deer, rabbits, and birds.

Night and Luna were in my arms while I was walking around. While I was walking, I saw a very big tree that had a hole just my size in it. I was curious so I decided I would climb the tree and see what was inside. I put Night and Luna down on a root where they can sit together and I began to climb the large trunk of the tree. Reaching from one branch to the next, I slowly climb the tree to the large hole in the trunk.

I finally reached the hole and was out of breath from my long climb. Peaking out to see how far the fall down was going to be, I noticed a glow behind me. I looked and I saw a drawing of a wolf at the end of the hole. The wolf looked like it was running, it was beautiful, amazing even. I crawled over to it as close as I could, something inside me said for me to touch it to see what it was. I reached my left hand out to touch the drawing. When I touched it I felt a burning sensation in my hand and I quickly pulled away and tumbled out of the hole.

"Daddy!!" I yelled hoping Daddy would come and get me before I hit the ground. I closed my eyes and I felt that I had stopped moving, I was being held by tendrils, but these ones where white instead of Daddy's black ones. I looked and I saw Uncle Offenderman, turning me right side up, and holding me close to his chest. "Kiba what happened..?" He asked me sounding worried instead of creepy to me. I looked up to his face and I felt my eyelids growing heavy and my hand was still burning. I closed my eyes.

When I opened my eyes, I was in my room. Night and Luna where not anywhere to be seen for me though. My head hurt and so did my hand. I lifted my left hand and saw a crescent moon shape on my hand. I touched it and I saw it was part of my skin. "Maybe I can wash it off." I thought. I walked into my bathroom and turned on the water. I lathered up my hand in soap and began to scrub the moon-shape off, it wouldn't come off my hand though. My hair fell down my face and I saw that it wasn't brown anymore: it was white! I looked in my mirror and saw I had white hair, a black tail, and what looked like ears of a wolf on my head!

I ran out of my bathroom only to have Uncle Splendorman grab me and holding me close. "Kiba what happened?" He asked me worriedly. "I don't know! I just found a tree in the woods and it had a hole in it and, and..." I said slightly panicking about what had happened. I covered my face and Splendor picked me up then walked out of my room. I shut my eyes and covered my new ears and even did my best to hide my tail. But it didn't work.

"She's awake now everyone!" Uncle Splendorman yelled as he set me down on the floor.

"Oh my goodness, Kiba." Uncle Trenderman said as he and the others walked up to me.

"I'm just glad I found her." Uncle Offenderman said crossing his arms and looking at me.

Daddy knelt down and put his hands on my shoulders. "Kiba... Are you hurt in anyway?" He asked me. I shook my head and bent my ears down. I guess they were apart of me now so I could use them. Daddy picked me up and I hugged his neck. "I'm sorry Daddy.." I whispered to him. He sighed and held me close. "We will need to tell her about her new powers when they set in." He said turning to my uncles. All three of them nodded. I was confused. "Trender, take Kiba upstairs and in her room. I need to find the book on symbols." He said handing me to Uncle Trenderman. Trenderman nodded and took me upstairs, Offenderman and Splendorman followed.
