Shadow's P.O.V.

I left the house when I said I needed to go, but really, instead of running back to the tribe, I was running back to the cave that Kiba and I stayed in when we met back up. Climbing the rocks, and crawling inside, I stayed there. Thoughts were racing in my mind about what I saw: the Slenderman is Kiba's father! I couldn't believe what I saw or heard back there. Sitting down on the cold floor, I shivered. Looking around the cave, I noticed that it could be used as a home. A home for me! I knew just what to do.

Kiba's P.O.V.

About two weeks had past of me not being able to Shadow any more. But I barley noticed, it all seemed like one long day to me. I had cried myself to sleep every night, and stayed in my room all day. I hadn't eaten, or drank anything. There was a knocking at my door, and it opened. "Kiba?" It was Uncle Trender. "Leave me alone." I groaned covering myself up with my blankets and rolling over so I wasn't facing him. I heard him sigh, then sit on my bed with me. "I know it's hard to let someone go. And I knew that you loved him." He said. I sniffed, feeling my tears coming down again. Uncle pulled me into his arms and hugged me. I needed some comfort, so, I sadly hugged him back. He gently rubbed my head and my back as I lightly cried into his vest. His usual sweeter vest was soft to the touch, so it helped for me to calm down. I knew that my family was always going to be there for me, no matter what happened. But all I could think about, was how heart-broken I was about not seeing my boyfriend.

I walked out of Kiba's room feeling terrible for her. She loved that boy Shadow, and I felt so bad that Slender wouldn't let her see him again; she loved him, and she needed someone to care for her besides us four. Sighing, I decided to take a walk out in the woods.

I was walking around for about a half hour, when I heard a rustling in the bushes. I walked over and pulled the branches back and looked to see: that boy Shadow, pulling in some make-shift wooden furniture into the cave that was just a few meters away from the house and the lake. He was pulling in a table, but seemed to be having trouble doing so. "Come on!" He growled trying to pull the table up. It slipped from his grip and I rushed over and caught it for him. "Need a hand son?" I asked as he reached for the other end. Shadow smiled. He must have been happy to have help bringing this table into the cave.

Once the table was inside, and in a good position that I thought was perfect to compliment the style of the other furniture I saw in the cave, Shadow looked up at me. "Thank you for the help, but why did you help me? I thought Kiba's dad said that you all can't help me or me seeing her again." He asked me. I chuckled a little and pushed my glasses back on the bridge of my nose. "It's true that he said that, but even I can help someone who loves my niece as much as my brother does." I replied calmly to him. I saw that his eyes flashed a new respect for my family and for Kiba. Looking around the cave, I personally was a bit appalled at the design of the bed, couch, and table. But I didn't say anything.

"May I ask why you are living here and not with your pack son?" I asked him. He just looked at me for a moment. "I'm a loner now. I left when I learned what my father was planing." He said to me. Who was his father? And what would he be planing?

Later on that night, I was looking up at the ceiling. Wondering what Shadow was doing, and what Dad was doing. Dad was always coming into my room before I fell asleep and talk to me. I would listen, but only to pass the time. My door opened. "Kiba? Sweetheart I know you're upset at me. But I needed to be a father and keep you safe." He said walking over and sitting next to me on my bed. I just looked at him with a blank expression. He sighed and lightly rubbed my head and brushing some of the hair out of my face. Dad kissed my head and, out of me loving him, I hugged his waist. Dad made me mad sometimes, even upset where I won't talk to him, but he was my father; and I loved him to much to be mad at him for the rest of my life.

It was the middle of the night, and I was still in my bed on my back. It was quiet in my room, until I heard a familiar tapping noise on my window. I got out of bed to look and see who it was, and to my surprise, it was Shadow!
