Kiba's P.O.V.

"We're running out of time, Kiba!" Owa yelled at me, making my heart beat faster and faster in fear of what is to come. I felt someone squeeze my hand, and upon looking, I was happy that it was Shadow who took my hand. He pulled me into a hug, and held me tight. I knew what he was meaning: he knew that sometimes you can't run from your fears, and this was something that we both needed to face together. We pulled apart, and gave one last kiss to each other, before standing up. Owa smiled and hugged me one more time as well, before Shadow changed back into his wolf form, and I climbed on his back. "Kiba, wait." Owa said. I looked and saw she had the armor that I needed, as well as the sword.

"Finally! The time has come!" Zalgo yelled out to his followers; the people in the group with the weak of heart. They all cheered and some even barked. I looked at everyone, seeing if they where ready, and they all looked at me; looks of strong determination across all faces. I nodded to everyone, and stepped out into the clearing. "Zalgo!" I growled at him, tendrils all around me, and a look of anger and rage on my blank face. His followers looked at me, and most turned back to their wolf forms to snarl and growl at me. I stood my ground. "So... The Guardian of the moon shows his blank face... Where is she!?" He yelled out at me, eyes burning red, even changing into his wolf form; a large black wolf with blood piercing red eyes. I stood quiet, as one of my tendrils lifted into the air, signaling everyone to come out.

One by one the pastas stepped out, weapons in hand, and a protective power in their hearts. A power that Zalgo had no power over. "She's safe. And able to stay away from you!" I yelled. He growled at me and ran to me.

I positioned myself for a fight, when a blur of black fur rushed in front of me, and about thirteen wolves rushed over to us, and turned around; not growling or attacking any of us. I had a feeling that this group, did not want to follow Zalgo, or had a strong heart, knowing that they had a choice to follow him.

The two black wolves broke off, and when both changed back to normal, I saw who the younger one was: it was that boy that Kiba was hugging in front of the house a few years ago, Shadow! I growled to myself at the memory of that day. I wasn't mainly mad at seeing someone I did not know with my daughter, but I was also mad that Zalgo tried to attack them. As soon as they both stood their ground, the small group of people that didn't cheer with Zalgo's followers, came to join us. Almost all had changed into the different wolves that they where. A dark gray wolf stepped up, shifting back into his human form.

"You take all of us for a group of fools Zalgo?!" He yelled out strongly. "All of us in this group, knew that you killed the real leader of the tribe. But we only followed you so that we may stand ready to fight against the darkness you wish upon the earth!" He yelled out. So, these wolves where on our side, down-sizing the group of followers so that there was thirty of them, counting Zalgo. He laughed, then changed into his wolf form again. "Even with breaking away from us, you still do not have the moon to protect you!" He growled, red eyes glowing. I took one quick look at the blood red moon, hopping, praying, that somehow Kiba would come back.

A light gray wolf ran down the hill, carrying something on her back. The wolf jumped into our group, and two girls climbed down her back: Owa, who I thought was still with us while in the clearing, and the second girl, I hardly recognize if I hadn't raised her, Kiba. She had silver armor on her, as well as a sword that was a bright silver as well. The wolf that had brought the girls here, changed into her human self, when I realized: she was the old woman that trained with Kiba, as well as the woman who helped me and my brothers when Kiba first gained her ears and tail. Even a few of the wolves where stunned, as well as Zalgo. "Impossible... I KILLED YOU!" He barked at the woman, rage and anger laced in his voice. She stepped up, and looked at Shadow, the male who lead the group, and even a girl that looked too young to change into a wolf yet. "You missed. And I knew I had to get back to my children: Shade, Shadow, and Cinder." She said calmly, and looking at the three young kids.
