Slenderman's P.O.V.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone was back at the pasta house now, getting their wounds cleaned, stitched, and even getting casts for their broken bones if any. I was in the study, sitting at my desk in my human form, looking at all of the drawings that Kiba had made for me. It hadn't been at least six hours, and it still feels as though Kiba died just a few moments ago. I looked at the last picture that Kiba ever drew for me. It was a picture of her sleeping in my arms under the night sky. I smiled to myself, and wiped off the tears that threatened to slip out. I heard a knock at the door so I put the drawing down and looked up. "Come in." I called, as Trenderman stepped inside. "Are you alright Slender?" He asked me. I could have said that I was perfectly fine and happy for Kiba being all grown up now, but I couldn't. I missed my daughter too much to even begin to explain how much I do so. I looked away from you younger brother. "I'm not alright Trender. You know that." I said quietly, nearly a mumble.
I felt a hand grip my good shoulder gently, to get my attention. I looked up to see Trenderman right next to me. He looked at the drawings I had at my desk, and then back at me, giving me a comforting side-hug. Secretly, I gladly took it. I needed some sort of comfort from what happened. "Everyone is waiting downstairs for Owa to play a song for Kiba's memory." He said. "I just thought I'd let you know." My brother finished, let me go, and walking out of the room, closing the door behind him.
I decided to hear the song, but only at the top of the stairs, and in the shadows of the hall. Though I want to morn for my daughter with my family, I'd rather do it alone. I got up from my desk, and partially limped to the top of the stair case.
Looking into the living room, I saw everyone in their bandages and casts on the couch, leaning on the walls, sitting in the chairs, and just standing around; talking and asking if the other person they where talking to where ok. I smiled a little, knowing that even if they all hated each other's guts out, they still cared to keep everyone alive. I saw Owa and Offenderman next to the piano, hugging one another, and a pained look on one another's faces about what had happened, and possibly if they had lost one another to the battle. After a bit, Owa sat down by the piano, and started to play her song.
"Silver light
She turned her face up to the starlit sky
And on this night began to wonder why
She knew that soon the day would come
Born to be
An heir of beauty and serenity
Into this world she entered quietly
To her surprise she was the one
Destiny was close behind her
Phantom of borrowed life
And the sea was a reminder
Mirror of given light
Then one day
The sign she'd waited for in skies of grey
Traversed a winding road and came her way
She found the love she hoped she would
But she knew
That she had promises to stay true to
The dormant daughter of the silver moon
Then all at once she understood
Destiny was close behind her
Phantom of borrowed life
And the sea was a reminder
Mirror of given light
From the sky
She watched the life
She'd known she would leave behind
Said goodbye
And gave her people
Life through her sacrifice..."
Once the song was done, I walked back up into the study, as everyone els clapped and gave their final words about Kiba.
Once I got to my study, I felt a distressed presence in the woods. I walked to the window to see what could be causing this feeling of panic around this area of the forest. I looked out the window, seeing a young female moose running in the snow, as a large black wolf jumped on it's back and bit down on the windpipe of the plant eater, killing it almost in an instant. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that it was Shadow who killed that animal. I saw as well that his wounds had not yet been mended well, either he did it himself, or the healer in his pack was doing a poor job. He looked up at me, snarled a little, then grabbed the carcass of the dead moose, dragging it away. I turned away from the window and grabbed my shirt, tail coat, and my tie, then teleported outside.
