I just want to let everyone know, that the size of all the wolves when they change, they are the size of the wolves in the Twilight movies. I do not like those movies, but the wolves of how big they are, are big enough to fit for this story of mine.

I woke up at the break of dawn. The sun starting to rise, as it warmed up the cool air in the cave. I sat up and covered myself in one of the blankets on our couch that Shadow had made while making this the perfect den for us. I looked out the front of the cave, watching the snow falling down in this cold winter weather. I felt strong arms wrap around from behind me, as I turned my head to see Shadow had woken up, his hair a mess. I giggled and kissed him. "Good morning." He smiled. "Good morning." I smiled back. He handed me my coat and even my hat to cover my ears and keep them warm. "Ready to head home?" He asked me, standing out in the snow, and changing into his black wolf self, with shining deep ocean blue eyes. "Yes I am." I said, climbing on his back, and holding onto his fur tight as he trotted to my home.

Hiding in the dark, snow covered bushes, Shadow and I waited to be sure everyone in the house was asleep. We both didn't hear anything, so he walked to the window and changed back to his human form. "Home sweet home." He smiled at me as I kissed him goodbye. I knew I couldn't go through the front door unless I wanted to get yelled at by Dad. So, both Shadow and I stood under my open window, he bent down, laced his fingers together, as I placed my cold bare foot on his hands as he lifted me up, and I climbed into my room. I waved to Shadow as he changed back into a wolf and rolled around in the snow to eliminate our foot and paw prints. I couldn't help but laugh at how cute he looked when he looked back up at me and was covered in some of the powder that had fallen on the ground.

The door opened and I turned to see Uncle Splendor standing in the door way. "Kiba why are you laughing?" He chuckled. I turned around and waved my tail to Shadow, a signal that we use when Dad or anyone else entered the room when he dropped me off. I heard Shadow running back to the woods. "I'm just laughing while watching the snow fall!" I said happily. It's true I was lying, but I was also telling the truth. I've always enjoyed playing in the snow since I was little. I still remember that before Dad took me in and I lived with my birth parents, I would play in the snow to help sooth my wounds they would give me. But since I've grown without them and grew in the woods, I enjoy the winters much more since I had so many friends and true family members to play in the snow with. It always snows in the winter and near my birthday, which was only a few days away. I wasn't sure if I was excited about it or not.

During the following hours of the mid day, I stayed with Uncle Trender so he could measure me for new winter clothes so I wouldn't be so cold. He finished with a beautiful light blue coat with dark blue hems, black gloves, black snow boots with a white top, a new white winter beanie that kept my ears warm, and even a pair of dark blue winter pants that matched my outfit perfectly. "I love it Uncle! It's so beautiful." I said as I looked at myself in the mirror that was in the middle of Uncle Trender's room. "I'm glad you do darling. You deserve to be warm in this weather." He smiled and kissed my cheek as I rushed outside to go play in the snow.

I ran in the woods and ran strait to the pasta household. I knocked on the door and EJ opened up the door. He was wearing his usual dark gray hoodie and blue mask with the black eyes and black liquid dripping out. He also had a little bit of a kidney in his hand. He already knew that I wasn't quite comfortable with flesh around me so he quickly finished it and turned back to me. I smiled when he finished. "Kiba! Good to see you!" He said hugging me. I hugged him back as I wagged my tail and he lead me inside. "Good to see you too EJ!" I giggled. "Hey, since it snowed out, you think you and the others are able to take a break from killing and come play?" As soon as I asked that question I heard little footsteps running down the stairs. I looked over to the stairs and saw Sally, wearing a cute pink winter coat and matching gloves, boots, hat and scarf. She came running up to me. "I'm ready Kiba!" She said. Sally was so excited she was not able to stand still. I laughed and picked her up, setting her on my shoulders. I turned back to Jack. "Well I'm still working on something Kiba, but I'm sure Jeff and Smile would come." EJ suggested. "Oh! And LJ too!! He loves the snow!!" Sally said, almost falling off my shoulders. I steadied her and walked into the kitchen. Walking through the door, I saw Smile-dog eating out of his bowl, Jeff loving his reflection in his knife, and Laughing Jack licking and sucking a tootsie pop. "Hey guys." I said to show them in in the room. They all looked up and Sally climbed down my shoulders. Smile jumped up and licked my face as Jeff was trying to get him down. "Alright boy, alright!" I laughed as Smile was finally calming down. Laughing Jack came up to me and gave me a side hug. "Good to see ya' kiddo. What brings you to this part of the woods?" LJ asked. I chuckled at his pun and I sat down at the table. But before I could answer, Sally took that job for me. "We're going to play in the snow and we wanted to know if you three wanted to come?" She smiled at them with her pleading light green eyes. Even I smiled at how she reminded me of me when I was her age. It feels like it was only yesterday that I was taken in by the group of killers I call my family. Jack smiled. "Sure, I'm sure all three of us would like to come."
