Well, that introduction couldn't have had gone any better. Rae curses herself for being so stupid, internally facepalming as she just did what she tried her best not to do at this party; embarrass herself--in front of a hot guy at that--she doesn't even have any alcohol in her system yet and she already sounds like a fool.Yes, Jeongguk chuckles, a slight playful smirk on his face as he places his red hands in his pockets. And you bet your bonkers he teases her. "Rae, I'm guessing?" He queries, to which the female is too shooken by her own fatal mistake that she can't even voice out a simple 'yes', letting her head move up and down.
He nods and brings his vape back up to his lips, inhaling before exhaling the cloud of smoke into the air. "I've seen you around the Uni. I have a class with you too, I think. You seem to be popular," He explains, glancing over at the brunette who was still having an internal battle with herself. "--Always crowded around a group of friends. You're even friends with Jennie, right?"
Rae looks at him and nods again. "She's my roommate." She adds, slowly erasing what just happened out of her mind as she continues talking to the handsome devil beside her.
"That's cool. She's cool." He comments, stargazing at all the bright luminous stars that were out on this autumn Friday night.
"Oh, I think we're in the same art class." Rae speaks up upon realizing what Jeongguk said a few minutes ago.
He looks at her as he thinks for a moment before grinning and nodding his head. "Yeah, yeah—you painted that amazing view of the night sky! That's an amazing talent you have." He fanboys, a slight blush on his cold cheeks (it's the cold, we'll go with the cold making his face turn a pinkish hue).
Rae looks away from his gaze, feeling her ears burn at his praise. "T-Thanks, but you drew that portrait of that girl. It was so beautiful."
Jeongguk sighs and looks down, kicking the dirt with his shoes. He chuckles, scratching the back of his neck. "Thanks...it was of my ex-girlfriend. I guess I made her too pretty, too hungover on being naive to have realized her true evil intentions."
After his comment it becomes quiet, Rae unsure of what to say next. It seemed like this dude was casting a spell or something...She turns her body forward, her eyes seeking out the different pigments of blue in the sky. To some, it would all just look the same, but with a watchful eye, there was a total difference. Something comes to mind as she thinks of new sketch ideas inspired by the night's sky. "This is your party, right? How come you're not in there partying it up?" The female makes eye contact with Jeongguk who shrugs at her comment.
"Bobby is the one who sets up all the parties. I'm his roommate, so I don't really have anywhere to go." He purses his lips, "Parties aren't really my thing." Rae completely agrees with that, both of them chuckling.
"We should exchange numbers. So, when he does throw another party you can come to my place to escape all the alcohol and weed." He grins at the idea, opening his mouth to express his answer until Rae interjects again. "O-Only if you bring Blue with you!" Jeongguk laughs and accepts the offer.
"Deal." Rae smiles eagerly as she takes out her phone, going into contacts and handing her device to Jeongguk. I guess it was true what Taehyung said; wherever Rae goes, she's bound to make a new friend. Speaking of which, she wonders now what the silver-haired male was up to. She still has his number saved in her phone and she hasn't talked to or texted him yet. She doesn't want to come off as clingy though. He's been doing, has been doing so much for her lately, she doesn't want it to seem like she's using him.
(Even though that was her intentions in the start of befriending him). "Here you go, text me any time. I'll be available all the time for someone as pretty as you." He winks at the end of his sentence, handing Rae back her phone.
