Rae walks back into the living area. She sees Jeongguk sitting on the couch talking to Jimin until they both look up when she appears. She greets Jeongguk, then mentions how she notices that Jimin had already introduced himself. "Yeah, seems like Jimin and I have a lot in common." Jeongguk looks back at the brunet; Jimin starry eyed as he beams (Jeongguk totally clueless of the look Jimin is giving him), nodding along with whatever he had said. "You didn't seem like the type to like rock bands."Jimin and Rae glance at one another before he shrugs, "Well, looks can be deceiving. It's like how people think you're straight."
"I am straight."
Blue pops up from beside the couch. Rae immediately squeals and runs up to the animal, hands already itching to pet the adorable big guy. "You actually brought him!" She looks at Jeongguk, grinning.
He nods. "I also brought snacks and some movies like I said I would." He picks up a plastic bag and tosses the contents out onto the coffee table. Jimin reaches down and picks up one of the five movies displayed.
His eyebrow perks up. "Two beefcake guys adventure in meaty trials—" Jeongguk snatches the movie out of Jimin's grasp, eyes wide.
"I-I don't know how that...I swear I didn't—" His cheeks flush, eyes glancing around the room as he shoves the God forsaken movie back into the plastic bag (reminding himself when he gets home to burn it with Bobby's flamethrower). He seriously has no idea where it had come from or how it even—Bobby!
"Hey, how did you even get Blue in here if they don't allow pets?" Rae, sensing Jeongguk's discomfort, saves him the embarrassment of explaining himself to Jimin by changing the topic.
Jeongguk shakily lets out a sigh. "Uh, there was a guy coming in here with a large pulley and I paid him five dollars to stand behind the stuff he was hauling in as I carried Blue to the elevators."
"Cool. How're you gonna get him out of here?"
Jeongguk didn't think of that.
Admist their conversation, a certain writer pops into the living area to tell Rae that he had finished packing her clothes (traveling for book signings and learning the different technics to packing quickly and efficiently from his manager came in handy) and was going to go so she could enjoy her night with her friends without him getting in the way of things. He sees the three in their natural environment, talking and laughing with one another. He smiles fondly at the scene, reminding him of his college days with his close friends before his very first book blew up and all he was worried about was money and his ex rather than spending time with his companions.
Rae meets his gaze. "Oh, Taehyung, meet my friends." Jeongguk and Jimin turn their heads, eyes landing on the writer. "Taehyung, meet Jeongguk and you remember Jimin from the restaurant." She points at the two who wave nonchalantly in return.
"Hey, I know you." Jeongguk calls out, eyes sparkling. Jimin sees this. Taehyung cascades his gaze onto the ravenet. "You wrote 'Some Daises Aren't Meant for Picking,' right?"
Taehyung nods, eyes shifting. "Yeah, it's not one of my best."
Jeongguk scoffs at his ignorance. "No way, that book had me wanting to call up my ex and tell her how much I appreciated having her." He replies back, looking over at Rae. Jimin takes note of his words. "How'd you become friends with a famous author?"
Taehyung and Rae spare each other a glance.
She shrugs, laughing nervously. "We--Uh-"
"–Hey, why don't we watch this movie." Jimin interjects, grabbing a random movie from the selection on the table. Rae huffs. Taehyung wipes at his forehead, both of them glad Jimin caught the social cue (He didn't, he was just pissed that Jeongguk was marveling at someone other than him and wanted Jeongguk's eyes on him for at least a good five seconds).
