Chapter Eleven

Haruhi wakes up to the morning sunrise, he would stretch and yawned. Looking beside him there Yumi laid, still in her sleep. He slowly leaned over to give her a kiss on the lips, but stops when she suddenly open her eyes. Immediately he jerks away from her.

"G-good morning, darling." Haruhi anxiously gets off their bed.

Yumi sit up rubbing her eyes. "Morning."

She got up as he went to the bathroom to wash up. In that moment her phone suddenly ring. Yumi picked it up and answered the call.

"Hello? Who is it?"

"It's me, Monika."

Yumi was surprised. "Eh? It's been four years now. How have you been?"

She paused for a moment. "I've been doing great actually. After graduating from college a book publishing company in Tokyo wanted to hire me. And how about you? Are you and Haruhi still dating?"

Yumi smiled. "Of course, we're still dating. We're even planning to get marry next month. I'm actually excited for it."

Monika chuckled. "You two are so perfect for each other." She sigh then ask something off topic. "Um, Yumi. Do you remember Yasuki?"

"Yeah, I remember him. It's our weird friend from twelve years ago, right?"

"Y-yeah." Monika paused. "I actually want the four of us to hang out again. If you guys are free that is."

Yumi glanced at the celander on the wall. "Why not. I'm sure Haruhi would be happy to see you two again." After discussing their plans Yumi ends the call just when he got out of the bathroom.

Meanwhile Natsuki and Yuri both accidentally bump into each other at a random crosswalk. They gave each other unhappy looks, and apparently their destination was the same. The both of them awkwardly walked alongside each other.

Yuri halted as she heard a kid crying from the distance. Natsuki bumps into her once again, "Why'd you stop walking?"

"Look, isn't that kid is crying." Yuri rushed up to her, patting her head she'd ask. "What's wrong little girl?"

"My ankle hurt!" She exclaimed.

"Where are your parents?"

"At home."

"Do you know where home is?"

The girl nods. "It's a few blocks from here."

Yuri turns to Natsuki. "Give her a piggyback."

"Why does it have to be me?"

"Because I'm too tall, she'd be scared and fall off. Your height would help her a lot."

Natsuki sucked the air through her teeth in anger. "I'm going to make you pay for it later." She crouch down turning her back toward the little girl. The girl got on her back. They walked for a while until the girl points to a white house just a few studs away.

"Your home is here?" Yuri and Natsuki gasp. "SAYORI'S HOUSE?!"

The girl nods. Sayori comes outside to find the three of them out at the front yard. "Huh..." Speechless she would beamed at them. "What brings you two here?"

Natsuki and Yuri averts their eyes away from each other.

"We just happen to find this girl. Is she your daughter?"

Sayori blushed. "O-of course not! She's just a girl that I happened to found laying outside my backyard."

"Oh..." Natsuki and Yuri said simultaneously.
