Her beauty is intoxicating.

I first found her looking at me, or more so, looking for me. She's got these searching eyes, you know. The kind that sparkle if the sun hits them the right way. And if you look looked long enough,

You might even smell the exact same shade of coffee.

It's a shame she hasn't let me in, yet.

It always looked like you knew all the answers. Now, I know it was only because you never learned how to ask.

Never thought you'd need it, the help.

Did you?

Well, I never thought we'd meet in the way we did

Tangled up now, as we are

Already having told each other too much to turn back

And yet, I don't even know you.

I don't even know you.

But I know you like your coffee iced

I know you throw in way too much sugar

I know you hate it when he talks to you like that.

I know you hate it that you always take the same side

As we all do.

It's understandable though,

Because if anything, your pride matters more

Than anything else.

Look. I'll be honest.

You're just another person I'm trying to understand.

I know.

It's complicated.

You've told me. Don't you understand, though?

It's not your beauty that's intoxicating, for me.

I think if you knew that we'd be playing a different game.

But you've always been such a cheater

So it wouldn't really make a difference
