show me what you've been hiding

Is it something you've been working on?

Something I'll probably understand.

I know I don't let on much.

But I feel each wave of emotion that rolls from each soul

Like the blowing of the wind during the crisp

First days of autumn

Just before you remember the warmth

The kindness of summer. And wish for things to begin again.

This never-ending cycle keeps me sane most of the time

Ignore the fact that you're missing something big.

You are missing something big.

Just out of your reach. Barely even brushing the corners of your mind; soft, lavender, and everything that reminds you of childhood.

Who am I addressing?

You, not as much these days.

There's too many people in this point of view

I'm seeing double in every memory.

Were you even there at the time?

Did I even know you at the time?

Please

I'm trying to change.

I don't know what I'm missing.
