6:12 am

"I haven't woken up this early in a while." I tell Justin.

"I'm aware. Sleeping in while I have to go to work and take Aviella to school and sometimes Bella to daycare." Justin makes an angry face and I laugh.

"You take Aviella to school whether I go to work or not."

"I know. Just let me be mad, please."

"Okay, be mad." I shake my head, making sure I have everything I need.

Bella and Aviella were already at my moms house. Frankie was gonna watch them both until it was time for Aviella to go to school. My mom was taking her to school then coming to the hospital, and Frankie would bring Bella whenever the twins were born. It's his decision to pick Aviella up from school, but we all know he probably will.

"I think we're ready, baby." I say.

"Okay then, let's go." Justin grabs the hospital bag and my hand and we walk outside to the car.

He opens the door for me and I get in.

"Thank you, babe." He moves closer to me to plant a kiss on my lips and I smile.

"Let's go have some babies." He whispers, patting my leg before closing my door and walking to the drivers side.

6:32 am

We get to the all to familiar hospital and that's when it hits me. I'm about to have twins. That means 2 babies. Almost at the same time.

"Justin, I'm getting nervous." He grabs my hand and squeezes it.

"Everything is gonna be alright, baby. I'll be right there the whole time."

"I know, but so much pain. I remember how much it hurt when I had Bella, but it's two babies this time. That's twice the pain."

"Don't say it like that. That sounds terrible. Not twice the pain, but the same pain twice. See, that sounds better doesn't it?" I look up at Justin and he smiles.

"You got this, baby girl. I know you do."

We finally walk into the hospital and check in. Within 30 minutes, I'm in a room, in a bed.

"So, you're not experiencing any pain at all?" The nurse asks.

"Not really. My back hurts. And my feet. But that's about it."

As soon as she writes that in her chart, I feel liquid trickling down my legs.

"Oh, fuck." I mumble.

"What? What happened?" Justin asks.

"I think my water just broke."

"Oh, that's great. We're making progress. I'm gonna call the doctor." The nurse says.

I nod, looking to Justin.

"Getting closer. I'm gonna call Joan and let her know."

"You do that. Aviella might not be going to school today."

A few minutes later, the doctor comes in with a different nurse.

"About 1.5 centimeters dilated. We've got a while to go so try to get some rest while we're waiting."

"Thank you." I smile as he walks out with the nurse.

I try to rest, or at least calm myself down, but the pain that comes with contractions is too much for me to focus on anything but that.
