Reader pov)

I was outside of my new house, bringing in my stuff from the moving trailer. As I stepped up onto the top step of my porch, I saw a huge, brown blob come running up to me. I turned my head just in time to see a dog's tongue in front of my face. As I jumped back, dropping my box of clothing, the dog jumped up on me, pinning me to the ground. I laughed as it licked all over my face, panting. "Hey sweetie, who do you belong to?" I asked, reaching around it neck to find it's collar. Once I found it, I searched all over the collar for the name tag, all the while still being blind from getting showered by kisses.
"Makka! Get off her!" A smooth, attractive Russian voice yelled, before I saw short silver hair come into view. The man reached down and grabbed the dog who I learned was named Makka, pulling the large, chocolate colored poodle off me. Once Makka was off me, the tall man reached down, offering me a hand. "Sorry about her.. we don't have many people move in around here. I'm Victor Nikiforov." He says, pulling me to my feet. He was at least two feet taller then me, his attractive voice doing him justice. I smiled shyly.

"Ah. I don't blame her. If I saw someone move in after not seeing anyone do so for a while, I'd be excited too." I smile, tucking my hair behind my ear. "Also I'm Y/N." I introduce myself with a small bow. He smiles.
"Nice to meet you." He replies, looking at my house. "I've always admired this house. So beautiful." He says. I nod.
"Yep. I suppose that's why I'm moving in." I joke, giggling. He nods.
"Suppose it is." He says back, smiling. I bite my lip, looking around him.
"May I ask, if it's not too creepy.. where do you live? I mean it couldn't be the huge mansion right there.. I mean who needs that much space? Not to mention it looks like an old lady lives there." I laugh. He chuckles a little, pointing a hand at the large house next to mine, that which I was just making fun of. I blush, being embarrassed. "Oh, crap.. w-what I meant w-was-" I start but he laughs, closing his eyes shaking his head, putting a hand up to stop me.

"Its alright. Sometimes even I think it's a bit much..  as for the color.. I have no idea. I'm bound to paint it." He replies, grinning. I chuckle awkwardly back.
"Yeah.. sorry again." I apologize. He shakes his head.
"Don't think anything of it. Anyway.. need some help? I couldn't help but notice the pretty lady moving in next to my house, unloading boxes by herself." He states, making me blush more.
"Ah. I-i'm fine.." I shrug. He looks down into my eyes, making me realize how pretty his eyes are. Like a gorgeous aquamarine sea... I shake the thought off. He raises an eyebrow.
"But it's the middle of the summer.. surely you need some help.." he says, smiling politely. I stand there for a second, before shrugging.

"Well.. I guess I could use some help.." I say. He grins.
"Okay! Let's get to work." He says, turning to pick up the box I dropped minutes before, having Maka sit down. His face twists into a frown as he easily picks up the heavy box. "Oh. This Is much too heavy for a beautiful female like yourself to have to lift." He pouts. I roll my eyes.
"Well thanks, but I'm fine." I say, walking over to the moving van, grabbing another box, and garbage bag, before walking inside, seeing Victor had already set the box down, admiring the inside. I find myself joining him. The inside is beautiful. It has a nice creme color, with a spiral staircase toward the west wall that has royal blue carpeting. A crystal chandelier sat in the middle of the room, and a hallway led off to the kitchen, a second hallway leading up three steps to two bedrooms. "Who would ever want to leave this beautiful place?" I ask. Victor turns to me.
"Who knows.. but if they didn't move out, then I wouldn't get the pleasure of meeting you." He reasons. I smile.

"True." He winks at me, before walking back outside, me following him. "So.. how long you been living here?" I ask, grabbing another box from the car. He smiles softly.
"Well, I'm an ice skater so I rarely ever come home." He explains. I nod.
"Ice skater eh? Is it fun?" I ask. He nods.
"Yeah. Just two years ago I resigned from being my student's coach. He's a great ice skater now. Won a bunch of medals. Before I coached him I was very popular, and carried on with it while coaching him, but never was part of a competitive match until I was completely sure he had the hang of it, him winning a gold medal proved it to me. I thought you would know me." He says. I smile.

"I don't pay attention to things like that too often." I smile. He turns his head to look at me.
"Haha. that's okay. It sure beats getting chased by a mob.. you know.. if you want we can go skating after this, to cool off." He says. I smirk.
"Then it's a date.." I say. He turns around fully now, walking up the cobblestone pathway leading up to the porch.
"Not exactly.. just a Friendly get-to-know-you activity.." he says. I nod.
"Alright alright. It's settled." he shoots me a friendly smile, turning around now, going back into the house. Once inside, we set down the last two boxes. I exhale, sitting on the ground. "That was tiresome.." I huff, wiping my sweaty forehead on the back of my hand. He nods, taking the collar of his shirt, and lifting it repeatedly as an act to fan himself.
"Indeed. Anyway, wanna head over?" He asks. I nod, smiling.
"sure." He nods back, lifting himself off the ground with an arm.
"Lemme go grab my skates, and change." He says. I raise my head, to look at him.
"Okee.." i hum. he smiles back.
"I'll come get you when I'm ready." He says, signaling Maka to follow him home, closing the front door. Once he's gone, I lay on the cold wood floor of the house.
"First day, and I'm already popular by a gorgeous male.. And his charming dog." I laugh to myself. "Now.. as for knowing him.." I pull out my phone, looking him up. "All time champion of grand prix competitions.." I read out loud. "Hm..? He wasn't kidding.."
