Reader:

I walked into the house, angrily closing the door with my foot. As I stormed up the stairs I slipped my shoes off, sending them tumbling down to the bottom, next to the door. At the top, I dropped my bag, narrowing my eyes at every wall in the way of my glare as I made my way to my room. I see Bill stretched out on the couch, tense and eyes wide as he watches me, remote in hand. Turning into my room, I slammed the door behind me, flopping onto my bed.

A few moments of silence follow before footsteps commence in the hallway. A pair of knuckles rap against the door. I grumble, pulling my blanket over my face. A small chuckle sounds in the hallway. "Come on babe, you can't expect me to go away when you're unresponsive like this.." Bills smooth voice rolls out into my room through the door. I roll my eyes, lettting the silence settle out for a moment. I hear him huff into the door, followed by a quiet creak. "Aw.. Hon. Why didn't you call me to come pout with you? You having fun there? Looks interesting." He chuckled. I clench my teeth, facing the wall.

I then felt his arms snake around my waist and my back. Grumbling, I struggled in his arms, kicking helplessly. "Ugh.. Bill.." I muttered angrily. It was his turn to be silent this time as he held me up, pulling me close to his chest. All I could do was hold onto his shoulders as he moved with me in bridal position in his arms. Once he had me against his chest he sat down on my bed, holding me in his lap. I opened my eyes, looking down to avoid his gaze.

He tilts his head softly, looking down at me silently. I bit my lip, avoiding his attention. Moving me to lean on his chest he brought a hand up to caress my cheek, moving my hair out of my face and behind my ear. I closed my eyes, leaning into his touch, with a soft sigh, taking in his warmth, though still tense. Pausing, he smiled down at me, and leaned over me to press his soft, slender lips to my forehead. I felt my lip quiver, before I clutched his T-shirt in my hands, burying my face in his chest. Feeling his hand on my cheek, I opened my eyes to look up at him who was delicately looking down at me.

"Can you tell me what happened hon?" He looked down at me, his usually cocky eyes now soft and responsive. I sigh studying his face as he studies mine too. I look down slightly, opening my lips to speak quietly.
"A shit ton of things.. Work, I missed the bus home, people are sick jerks sometimes, and.. Ugh." I cry in exasperation, going limp on his lap. Bill chuckles, supporting my head with his arm.
"Damn. I'm sorry doll face. Although I don't know what having a boss is like, as well as missing the bus, none of that sounds enjoyable." He purrs in a smooth voice, running my hair through his fingers slowly.

I open my eyes looking up at him with a sigh, holding myself up again. "Trust me. It is." I huff. He smiles down at me.
"I know. Its gotta be a lot to crack you. Even i have to press myself extra hard to do that. You're tough doll." I scoff a bit.
"Only because you usually end up being an idiot or being clumsy and that's not annoying." I retort. He looks down at me, making a mock snarling expression.
"Aw.. So you think pain is funny too? No wonder you're my girl." He winks. I close my eyes shaking my head at his remark. I feel him shift slightly, moving his hand to be resting on his knee beside me, then i feel a warm sensation on my lips. Ever so slight, ever so gentle but still a feeling that gets my heart going as if it was our first kiss every time.

I bring my arms up, wrapping one arm around his neck and resting my other hand on his cheek, keeping him from pulling back as I kiss him a bit longer, finally letting go of his face to allow him to pull away. He lingers there for a second longer before pulling back, a smirk on his lips. "Guess he did it again." He whispers with a flirty wink. I smile back.
"What? Kidnap me to the confines of his lap and tempt me to spill all my life problems that he normally wouldn't care about if on different circumstances?" I half lid my eyes in a sassy manner back at him. He sits there watching me, all the while chuckling.
"Yeah, I guess thats accurate," He shrugs, causing me to hit his shoulder with a gasping smile. He closes one eye with a laugh, holding up an arm to protect himself. "..For the most part" he says. I stop hitting his shoulder to look at his face, raising an eyebrow, my smile lingering.

"What do you mean?" He shrugs.
"Well we both know thats not ALL your life problems.. We also know I'd not be able to stay awake to hear all of them." He grins. I narrow my eyes with a huff, pushing his face away as I get up off his lap. He holds me down with a hand on my stomach. "Ah ah ah. You're not getting up just yet." I sigh giving him a look.
"I don't want to stay sitting on one of my problems." I groan as I squirm around. He laughs at this.
"That's exactly why I'd fall asleep, because I don't care if I'm a problem." He beams. I make an unamused face.
"Lovely. Now let me up before I pour holy water on you." He grins, holding my chin, giving me a peck on the lips before releasing his grip.
"You're the only holy water I need, my rose." I roll my eyes.
"Alright. You want some macaroni for that cheese?" I tease. His eyes brighten.
"That sounds delightful." He grins. I look at him in exasperation.
"You're serious?" I ask. He doesn't answer, but instead grabs my hand dragging me to the kitchen. I sigh to myself but follow behind.
