Edd X Reader. Green with envy

Reader pov)

I sat on the couch, drowning my sorrows in cola as I watched Edd talk to his girlfriend in the kitchen. I felt like puking. I'd liked Edd for so long. He let me live with the guys about 2 years ago. The most he can do is notice my feelings for him! I saw him lean in, herding her against the counter. As his lips were inches from hers, I stood quickly as I rushed to my room. As I slammed my door all I heard was a startled cry from Matt and an angry shout from Tom.

I dropped to my knees, putting my hands to my face. I suddenly jumped as my door swung open, and someone rushed in, standing beside me. "What's wrong, Y/N?" It was tom. I looked up at him, tears streaming down my face. Tom glared, shaking his head. "Edd.." he mumbled angrily, before storming out, and going to edd. Then I heard Tom's shouting. "Edd! You better get your green, British arse down that hall now! You owe someone some attention!" Tom yelled, furious. I heard some footsteps coming back down the hall, and a door shutting. Probably tom. Soon, a figure joined me, sitting down beside me. Me shortly realizing it was Edd. "Y-Y/N what's wrong? Are you hurt?" I heard from the British male. I sobbed into my sleeves.

   "Yes, Edd! I am hurt! And something IS wrong! You and (girlfriend's name) is wrong! That's supposed to be me, that you're  flirting with in the kitchen!" I yelled, tears rushing down my face. I heard a sigh beside me from edd.
     "Y/N I-i really didn't know.." I turned to him, tears going down my face.
    "O-of course y-y-you didn't. You're b-blind! You d-don't care!.. a-as long as y-you're h-happy.. edd, I-i love you! B-but you haven't seen that s-since you m-met m-me. D-decided I w-wasn't good e-enough?!" I sobbed. He groaned, rubbing his face.
   "But-" he started. I was done. I turned to him, grabbing his chin, and kissing him. I heard him gasp, before putting his hands on my shoulders. I suddenly realized what I had done. I pulled away, and stood, shaking my head.
     "O-oh.. i-i... I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!" I said over again. He stood, looking dazed. He got close to me.
  
   "h-hey.. i-it.. it's o-okay. It's okay.." he said, rubbing my back in circles. I closed my eyes, leaning on him, and smiling a little. I wish it could be like this often. But it can't. I pulled away from him.
   "I'm sorry. I really wish I could do this more often, but I can't.. you have a girlfriend, and she's probably waiting for you right now.." I said, pushing him toward the door. He turned to me, and I saw (girlfriend name) standing there, smiling. She nodded, as in signaling me to carry on. I looked at her.
    "Aren't you mad?" I asked. She shook her head, giggling.
    "No, silly. This whole thing has been a deversion.. Edd's yours." She said, winking and walking away. I turned to edd, confused.
    "Wha-" i was at a loss for words. he smiled.
     "Since you didn't let me finish a minute ago, I was going to tell you that this was only to get you to like me. Make you jealous. Make you want me." He said, rubbing his neck. "But I guess you had already gotten that figured out.." he chuckled. I looked down, clenching my fists.
    
   "So this whole sick joke was to get me to like you?" I asked. He nodded.
   "yeah.. guess it worked." He said. I smiled, laughing as I felt the stress melt away, as I threw myself at him.
   
   "I love you so much, Y/N.. I was just afraid." He said. I shook my head, pulling his hoodie toward me, kissing his lips.
   "Idiot." I said softly, making him smile, and kiss Me back. I guess everything did work out in the end. .
