Yurio's pov)

I grinned, jumping up and down on the couch, pointing my fingers in Viktor's face. "Hah! I won!" I yelled, wooping. Viktor leaned his head into his hand, bouncing slightly due to my jumps next to him.
"I had all the weapons though.." he said. I nodded. "Yeah, idiot.. but  I'm the smaller one and I have camo." I taunted. He shook his head, smiling.
"Well.. good game." He said, out stretching a hand. I rose an eyebrow suspiciously, shaking his hand.
"At least you have more time to hang out with the fat pig.." I said, shooing him away. As he got up, he rubbed Y/N's shoulder.
"Have a fun night.." he said, smiling before leaving the house. Y/N watched him leave before looking at me.
"That was at little harsh, yuri." She sighed. I shrugged back.
"He's fine. Besides he left smiling. He's an idiot anyway.." I said. She shook her head, smiling a little.
"Lemme get ready." She said, pushing herself up from the ground, to walk past me, going down the hall to her room. I leaned back, smiling as I sighed happily.
"I won.. for once." I whispered, not believing that fact. I sat there, staring at the restart screen, and shrugging. "But big deal." I huffed, dropping my wide smile. I bit my lip turning the console off.

Y/N came out a couple minutes later, smiling at me. She was in ripped jeans and a excited. Her hair was up in a (favorite hairstyle.) She had on Converse and had a beanie on. I rose an eyebrow. "What's with the gangster look?" I asked, making her roll her eyes.
"I like it okay. Now come on!" She laughed. I stood, going up next to her, suddenly realizing how much shorter she was to me. She huffed. "Why are you so tall?" She pouted. I smirked. "Maybe cause I'm a boy. Maybe you didn't know, but men are naturally taller than girls." I chuckled. She rolled her eyes at this
"yes I know. Whatever, lets go!" She cheered.

We had been walking around. I looked over, seeing the fair. But I only had a limited amount of money.. I would do anything to take her.. But there was no way we'd even be able to do anything. Added to the fact I have to make sure my family has food and money.... I teared up, turning away from the female to the side of me. She noticed, turning and walking in front of me, leaning down. "You okay yuratchka?" She asked tenderly. I hate when people feel pity for me. I scowled, looking at her.
"Get out of my face!" I growled, making her jump. She sighed.
"I was just trying to help. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea..." She mumbled, turning to start walking home alone. I blinked, realizing I just yelled again. I bit my lip, running to catch her. I really didn't ever mean to snap at anyone.. I just get emotional. Its a touchy subject. Once I caught her, I walked in front of her, sighing. "Don't leave.. Please." I begged. She looked down at her feet.
"I don't want you yelling and snapping at me all night, yura." She sighed. I grabbed her shoulders, hugging her to my chest.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.." I said. Suddenly remembering that hugging wasn't known for being my thing, so she was probably wondering why I did that. I let go of her quickly, and backed up, blushing. She stared at me in confusion.
"Are you okay? You never hug anyone.." She asked. I nodded.
"Yeah. I'm fine.. Uh.. Where do you wanna go?" I ask. She looks at me for a moment, before turning away.
"Can we.. Just go walking through the city? We can grab some food somewhere in the process. I just wanna be with you in general." She said. I gazed forward before nodding.
"O-okay.. Sounds good. Are you sure you don't wanna do anything more?" I asked quietly. She nodded, slipping her hands into her jeans pockets. "Nope. I'm fine." She smiled softly. I smiled a little in response. What is up with me? She's right I never hug, neither smile or be agreeable.. I think I need some mental help.. My heart pounded every time she spoke. I wasn't unbeknownst to these feelings.. But It couldn't be love.. I shook the thoughts off, turning to look at her.
"Um.. There's a shop ahead, let's go in there." I said, pulling my tough voice again, as I forcefully grabbed her arm, pulling her with me steady enough behind to keep her at my pace, but not too forceful she wanted to go home again. I looked ahead, looking at her out of the corner of my eye. She was smiling, and rushing along with me, holding her hair out of her face. Once we got to the shop, I opened it, pushing it so we could slip inside. When I let go of her arm, she looked around in awe. We were in a small street shop, displaying clothes and electronic add-ins, like headphones and earbuds. I looked ahead, suddenly seeing a shirt with a tiger on it, another nearby featuring a cheetah. I ran over, softly grabbing the one with the tiger. It was made for a girl, obviously showing it because there were wildflowers around it, and a long red bow passing behind the tigers head. As I turned around, Y/N was walking up to me. I waved her over making her rush up to me. I held it up to her chest. She smiled, giggling.
"I like it!" She beamed. I looked up at her face in shock.
"You do?" I asked, smiling. She nodded vigorously, taking it out of my hands.
"I'll get it." She smiled. After looking around for another bit, we left. By now Y/N had three new shirts, and leopard print headphones. I hailed a taxi. She looked over to me, giggling.
"Where are we going yuratchka?" She asked excitedly. I shook my head.
"It's a surprise." I said. Once the taxi stopped we could just walk for a minute and we'd be at our destination. It stopped at the old building used for shipments in and out of Russia. The neighborhood just up the street is where we have to go.

A couple minutes later, we stepped up the cracked concrete steps of the small, light blue, old house in front of us. How I missed this house. Raising my hand up to, I exhaled excitedly. As I knocked I noticed a loud crackling noise coming from inside the small house. The door opened, revealing my grandpa. I grinned, rushing into him, as I wrapped my arms around his body. "Grandpa!" I exclaimed happily. Y/n chuckled behind me. Grandpa looked down at me, smiling back.
"Yuratchka!" He exclaimed. Once I pulled back, he finally noticed Y/N was beside me smiling like she knew my grandpa too. He extended a hand, which Y/N immediatly grasped shaking it firmly. "Well hello there, darling. I'm Yura's grandfather." He said, before turning to me. "I'm surprised, son.. You didn't tell me you had a girl already." He winked, making me look to the side, huffing playfully.
"Well it's kinda complicated.. But she's not exactly my girlfriend." I said. Glancing inside, I saw a poofy smoky grey and white Siamese stride into the living room, the bright warm fire reflecting off her emerald green eyes. I grinned, rushing in, as I scooped my cat into my arms. "Potya!" Grandpa had been taking care of her while I was off touring and competing. The two looked inside, smiling at me as I was sprawled on the old carpeted floor, cuddling my cat. She immediately purred, and rubbed up against my face. Y/n shortly joined me, petting Potya as she cooed softly. My pet stared up at Y/n before clambering into her lap, licking her face. I took this opportunity to stand and tell my grandpa what I was doing there. Approaching him, I noticed he was making his way to the kitchen, reaching toward the stove. "What are you doing, grandpa?" I asked, leaning up against the counter. He sighed softly.
"Well, I figured you'd want your favorite food." He said. I nodded.
"I would. That's what I was going to ask you about. I brought Y/n here, because I wanted her to try pirozhki. She loves Pork cutlet bowl too." I explained. He nodded.
"I'd better get to it then, huh?" I nodded, laughing.
"guess so. Thanks grandpa." I said, receiving a nod and approving hum from the older man beside me. I smiled a little Y/n as she smiled and carresed the small cat's white stomach. Putting the cat down, she got beside me, tugging on my hair. I rose an eyebrow. "What are you doing?" I asked. She didn't respond, scooting behind me.
"I'm braiding your hair like it was at the semifinals two years ago. It'll be so easy now since its much longer." She said, pulling my hair back. I sighed, not really caring at this point.
"Okay..?"

I looked at myself in the mirror of my grandpa's hallway bathroom. Y/n stood behind me looking proud.
"So.. What do ya think?" She asked, happy. I shrugged.
"Jah. I guess I like it.. Keeps it out of my face." I muttered, though deep down, I found it cute and touching that shirt remembered how it was braided. Y/n opened her mouth to speak but I didn't hear anything because of grandpa yelling out
"Kids! Time to eat!" She smiled hugely, before clutching my arm.
"Come on! It smells amazing!"

The whole time we were eating Y/N sat there grinning and complementing us on our food and traditional foods. Counting on the fact she had never been to Russia before the last season. We left a bit later, bidding our goodbyes to grandpa, before walking home. Letting her off at her house, she gave me a tight hug. I squeaked out uncomfortably, but let her carry on nonetheless. She pulled back from the hug, looking into my eyes as I blushed, suddenly she grabbed my shoulders, getting on her tiptoes before pressing her lips to mine. I widened my eyes before pulling her closer, tilting my head. The kiss lasted a couple seconds before she pulled back, blushing. I blushed too, looking away trying to hide my red face. She smiled, kissing my cheek before looking back up at me. "Thank you Yuratchka." She whispered. I nodded.
"Y-yeah. It was fun. I hope you liked it even if we couldn't go to the fair or anything.." I said, feeling bad. She now shook her head.
"No that was so fun and amazing. It was awesome to meet your grandpa. And pet your sweet kitty." She giggled. I smiled back, still not so used to the feeling of smiling so much. She waved goodbye to me, slipping something into my hand before she went inside. I waved back at her, watching her go inside and close the door. Turning around, I read the slip. 'Come back tomorrow. Ive got something for you' I smiled at that, nodding.
"Will do." I then breathed softly, Making my way back home, I smiled to myself, proud of the fact I had the smart idea to let her meet grandpa. I smiled softly to myself, and turned on my heel, making my way down the snowy streets of Russia.
