Mycrofts night

As Michael, Mycrofts driver drove him home his mind was reeling at what he saw. He was happy that Gregory smiled and ate but deviated that he was doing THAT to himself. He hardly noticed when the driver pulled up to his house until his driver asked if he was okay

"Yes, yes I'm fine Micheal." He says as he gets out and heads to his house. He enters the security code and walks in the door, he puts his umbrella by the door and heads to his room. He takes a long shower, and puts on his silk pajamas and lays down, but he can't sleep. 'How did I not notice?' He thinks to himself as he stares at the ceiling, 'I know the signs, I know what to look for' he's helped sherlock for long enough for him to know that. He replays every time he saw Gregory, on CCTV or in person, something should've tipped him off! Then he realized that that's the only way he's seen Gregory, sad and lonely. He first met him when his wife was cheating on him and he saw him during the divorce, which lasted too long because his wife wanted all he had, she got most of it too. But he'd never seen him without those troubles on his life.

That thought stuck with him throughout the night and, in the morning he decided that however he can help Gregory's life happier he will. He texts Gregory when he wakes up asking him how he slept, he responds after twenty minutes with 'Pretty well actually -GL' . 'He was probably in the shower' Mycroft thought as he ate and he quickly pushed the images of Gregory fresh out of the shower out of his mind. 'That's wonderful Gregory, I'm glad to hear that- MH' he sends as he gets in his car. 'All thanks to you Myc-GL' Mycroft scoffs at seeing his name shortened 'it really my pleasure, however I would prefer you don't call me that-MH' he starts to read what he has to do so that world war three doesn't start when he gets two texts, one from Gregory and one from Sherlock, the one from Gregory reads 'sorry I didn't want to spell out Mycroft whatever your middle name is Holmes-GL' Mycroft let's out a small chuckle at Greg's text. He opens up Sherlock's it says  'Hows the diet?-SH' He rolls his eyes and ignores it, he enjoyed dinner with Gregory but it completely ruined his diet  regime.
