Chapter 14: The problematic kiss

"Hey! What's wrong with the dork?" Kazama Ren nudges the guy who's standing next to him when he arrives late – again.

"I don't know man. She's been like that ever since she arrives here." Ichimura Rikiya shrugs.

Honjo Kengo then saw them. He hurriedly went to his friends.

"Sshhh!" he hushed. "Don't ever think of calling her or else she'll remember our exam today!" he whispered strongly.

"Ah-!" Ren and Rikiya looked at each other with wide eyes and grin. Then they both nod at Kengo.

"So, do you know something?" asked Ren.

Kengo shook his head. "I think something might have happened to her that made her so much weirder."

"Or maybe she's...sick?" Kuraki Satoru butts in to their conversation.

The guys turned their head to Yankumi who's spacing out in her desk. She kept on sighing and then suddenly grunting by herself.

Her new students in Akado Gakuen High School, the problematic 3-D class, was enjoying their 'free time' and making noise to their hearts content. Some are playing child games and gambling. The others are watching her and wondering why is she like that and not in her usual self – the dorky one.

"Nah... that's not the case. I've checked her earlier. No signs of sickness or fever or whatever." Ogata Yamato lazily sits down on his chair.

"Hmm... so, what might be the cause, then?" Ren put his fingers on his chin like he was seriously thinking.

"Who cares dude? Just leave her be." Shrugs Kengo.

"Hey guys, wanna eat something?" Rikiya gave them a naughty grin.

"Aww, man. That's a brilliant idea!" Ren raised his hand. "Oi, let's ditch this class and grab something to eat!"

Upon hearing Ren's declaration, the guys immediately followed him. Even Yamato's group went with his idea. It's better than the boring classroom anyway, while their teacher's like a dead fish.

Few minutes later and the classroom was quiet and empty, except for Yankumi who was making weird faces while spacing out.

Damn that brat, Kudo!

Since this morning, she couldn't get her mind to focus. She couldn't get her mind to not think about what happened between her and Sawada Shin. And the truth that Kudo had just been revealed to everyone in their house.

[FLASH BACK]

"No way! I didn't do that! How could I do that to my precious student?!" Yankumi snarled at Kudo.

"Hey kid, you better not makin' some fuck-up stories, aye?" Tetsu was glaring at the poor kid, ready to beat the shit out of him any moment.

N-no way in hell could I do that, Tetsu-san!" Kudo said nervously. "E-even if I die, I swear, I'm telling what I saw!"

"Ojou, is it true? Did you really kiss Sawada Shin? Did you do it?" Minuro bombarded her with questions.

"Shut up!" Yankumi kicked him out of the house.

The poor guy rolled to the ground. Tetsu immediately went to his aid.
