"Oh, Kumiko-san. Why are you running like crazy?"
Yankumi passed by the hallway, a familiar figure was standing there. "Odagiri-kun! W-what are you doing here?!"
"I received a call for an interview yesterday," he politely answered even though he was wondering what happened to her. "And I got hired as an assistant teacher just today."
"Really?!" Yankumi exclaimed in excitement. She naturally forgot why she was running earlier with a flustered face. "Congratulations, Odagiri-kun! I'm happy for my former student!"
Odagiri was taken aback when she hugged him. Although, he wasn't happy hearing her say 'former student' again, he ignored it this time. Because he likes what was happening.
He slowly move his hands so he can hug back Yankumi. But then someone utter by coughing slightly behind them. His hands froze mid-air and the hug lasted for a minute.
Yankumi was shocked and she unintentionally pushed back Odagiri. Her heart started beating like crazy again. And her face feels like burning.
Damn it!
"Good for you, Odagiri Ryu." Sawada said in his usual tone. He was standing behind Yankumi and that made her startled a bit.
"O-oh, yeah..." Odagiri couldn't find words to say to him. He was flabbergasted that he lost his composure.
"As expected of your precious student," Sawada touched her shoulders. That startled her more and she became too stiff to react or to say something. "But why did you run away from me?"
Yankumi shivers.
Damn you Sawada!
Where did you learn how to tease people?!
"Are you alright, Kumiko-san?" Odagiri looked so worried. "Your face is so red. Do you have fever – "
Odagiri was cut off mid-sentence and his attempt to touch her face was stopped by Sawada. The two guys had an intense staring contest. Tensed atmosphere kept building up around them. And Yankumi was a little confused.
"YANKUMI!!!"
Their attention was caught by the student running towards their direction. And that saved her from that awkward situation. Thank goodness!
"Honjo, what happened?" she asked her student.
"There's a big trouble!" he said while trying to catch his breathe. "Ren is in big trouble! You gotta do something!"
"What!!?" Yankumi grabbed him by his shirt. "What happened to Ren? Tell me!"
Honjo explained everything to them. He told them what happened about Ren and the guys from the neighboring school. He said that he will bring her to where he left them and the other 3-D guys.
