I woke up on the side of a road. 'How did I get here?' I thought to myself. Then I remembered everything. My sister was gone and I must have been hit by a car. I tried to stand up, but my front left leg screamed in pain and I fell back down. I tried once more and limped back to my box and laid down. After a while a human girl about 12 years old walked past and saw me. She came towards me and sat down. She put her paw in front of me. I accepted it and she pat me on the head. "My name is Faith," said Faith as she patted me. Faith took her water bottle and slowly poured it so that I could drink it. That water was the best water that I have ever tasted. Then she opened her backpack and gave me half of a sandwich. I ate it and then laid down and closed my eyes. Faith put a warm piece of cloth (blanket) on me and sat with me till I fell asleep. Then she left.
