Rescued

Chapter 15

Before I start make sure that u read chapter 14, which I published before my allegencies
I walked through a lush warm dense green forest and effortlessly jumped over a log. A looked a my front paw, and,to my surprise, it was healed. I jumped as I heard a desperate howl of pain pierce the silence. I sprung up and raced to the sorce. I saw Lily, Tundra, Nova, and four very young pups cowering behind a huge bear. I leaped for the bear, and it caught me in its jaws. Just before I heard a snap of my neck I woke up. I looked around the den wildly, frantically looking for Lily and the pups. I saw them huddled together and felt rush of relief. It was sunrise so I decided to and eat. I picked up a fat mouse, happy that new leaf was here. I ate the mouse in four big gulps and sat in the sunshine for awhile.
It has been three sunrises since I found out I am bearing pups, and I am so excited. I got up an decided to go for a walk. I looked around the forest, the new budding plants setting plans for new life. I as walked on I got lost in my thoughts, and a snapping twig pulls me back to reality. I turn around and see a.... HUMAN!! I howl and bark to the pack for help. I slowly back away from the human, shaking uncontrollably. The large human slowly walks towards me, and, before I could escape, covers me in a cobweb like substance. He grabbed me and carried me away. My pack came running through the bushes, but just to late, for the human is pushing me into a big monster. Lily howled in distress as the car drove away.

I woke up to a bright blinding light. As my eyes adjusted I saw that I was in a den like place. There was another dog beside me who was slightly larger than me. She, judging by the scent which was slightly different, was all brown with yellow eyes and a pink nose( she is a chocolate lab and her scent is different because she was taken to the 'cutter'. A/N any warrior fans?). She was sleeping on a nest-like thing. A looked down at my slightly swollen belly. White had told me that the pups would be born in about two moons. Maybe I could name one sky, after my sister I thought. The big brown dog moved and opened her eyes.
"Hello, I'm Brownie, you must by the new dog from the forest. Do you need any thing?" Her voice was soft and sweet like honey, it reminded me of Lily's voice.
"Is there any prey?" I asked softly.
"Prey? I don't now what that is, but I do have kibble." She said, her voice tinted with sympathy
"Okay. Thank you." I said and bow my head as she pushes food towards me. A sit up and take a bite of the food, it tastes horrible, although not as bad as I imagined. I ate about half of it and then pushed it towards Brownie as I always did in the pack.
"I don't need any, but thank you. If you don't mind my asking, where did you come from, what's your story?" She asked. I sit in a nest next to her tell her all about me, the pack and all the traditions.
"Wow." She breathes. We chat more all morning and I hope that I will soon get back to my pack.
