"I don't know if i made the right decision"!!!

Alyssa felt her heart pounding like a stampede of elephants. She didn't know if she had made the right choice but with how things were going she had to leave. Laura had changed and not for the better. She honestly didn't think things would work out with her, so why waste time? She never believed in messing around, she wanted to find her perfect match as soon as she could so she could spend her life with her. It was obvious most of Laura's family didn't like her and Laura didn't even seem like she liked her.

Alyssa pulled out her phone and looked up the hospital. It was about 5 minutes away, by car. According to her phone it would be almost a half hour walk. She sighed softly and started to walk.

When she started walking it was about 5:48, now it was 5:55. It had been 7 minutes. She sighed to herself as she continued walking. Almost 6 pm and she was walking by a busy road alone, not really safe.

She decided to take out her headphones and put her music on shuffle to help her clear her mind and make time feel faster. After around 10 more minutes she got a text and checked her phone. It was an unknown number.

'Alyssa, it's Michelle's mom. I got your number from her phone, we are at the hospital with her, we are so glad you were on the phone with her or they may not have found her phone to call us. Thank you!' Alyssa smiled as she read it.

'You're welcome. I am on my way now. Still maybe 13 minutes away,' she replied. She saved the contact into her phone and listened to "Helpless" from Hamilton. She had a wide variety of music but musicals were always nice to her, they told a story.

'How can you be that far away? You live near us,' Michelle mom's replied. Alyssa felt a bit embarrassed that she was walking but decided to just send the word walking. 'Alyssa that is dangerous! Tell me where you are, I am already on my way to the car.'

Alyssa sighed and looked for a street sign. Once found she texted her the street and stayed by the sign like she was told to. She hummed along to another random song by Sam Smith.

Soon a car pulled up and she waited until she saw Kamryn's face before getting in the car.

"Well, you look gorgeous," Kamryn giggled as Alyssa climbed in. Alyssa blushed unsure if she should tell her what happened, she didn't even know if Michelle told her family she wasn't straight.

"Thank you," she said softly. "How is she?" Alyssa finally asked when she saw the hospital.

"She's sleeping. Well, more so unconscious. She hasn't woken up since they found her, and they don't know when she will wake up. Right now, she in coma," Kamryn explained with a slight crack to her voice. Alyssa nodded softly, she had no response.

She felt her phone buzz and looked at it, text from Laura, she ignored it.

Alyssa sighed a bit as they parked then got out of the car. "Floor 4 room 18," Kamryn told her. "I need to go to the cafeteria and get us some drinks." Alyssa nodded and went to the elevator.

It was a quiet and small elevator, at about 6 pm not people were going up stairs. She sighed as her mind wandered, basically a coma. What if she never wakes up?
