She was sitting in a chair in the hall way outside Michelle's room. She stood up slowly holding the notebook and walked into the doorway looking at her.
I obviously was crushing on her, but I'd doubt she'd love me back. Alyssa's thought"We shouldn't wake Michelle up, plus she may be going home soon.Mia said
I felt kind of sad that she might, but felt happy.
"Hey," Michelle said softly when she noticed her in the doorway. Alyssa smiled and nodded slightly at her.
Alyssa's looking around.
Yes,you cutie pie." Michelle smiling"Oh Hey, did you sleep well?" she asked softly.
"Yeah, although these beds aren't comfortable," she let out a small chuckle. Alyssa smiled a bit but didn't know what to say.
"You can come in, she said, Alyssa was your name, right? Well, I've barely gotten to talk to you."
"I. I don't really know what to say," Alyssa admitted.
"Well, just tell me things. I mean, I don't remember you, but I want to. How did we meet, how long have we known each other, why are you here waiting, how long have you been here?" Michelle shrugged a bit. Alyssa came and gently sat on the edge of her bed.
"We met at a park near our houses, and have known each other since April. I have been here since you were admitted. I went home once to get things to have but other than that, I really don't leave," she told her.
"Wow. You must be like, my best friend," she said with a smile. "I'm glad you were here."
"Yeah, I mean, you're my only friend really," she admitted.
"What? How, you seem so sweet," Michelle was a little surprised.
"Well, most people at my school don't like me. The only person who did,was Laura (my ex gf) but you didn't like her, and she wanted me to choose between you two... and I picked you," Alyssa closed her eyes feeling nervous. Knowing how she felt now made this weird to her. Michelle tilted her head as she listened to her talk.
"Why did you have to pick? She wouldn't let you have two friends?" Michelle asked a little confused.
"No. I uh, you don't remember, but I'm a lesbian. She was my girlfriend, i mean ex girlfriend and she got really protective in a scary way. She didn't want me to be your friend so I dumped her," she told her and noticed Michelle start to blush.
"So, were you and I going to date then?" she asked quietly.
"What?" Alyssa asked surprised with her face flushing. No.
"Were we going to date? I mean, you left her for me, so did we like each other or were you going to ask me out?" Michelle asked.
"I uh.. I don't know... I never thought of asking you out, I mean," she trailed off. "I didn't think you liked me that way."
"Well, I mean, it's like I'm meeting you for the first time, but if we were as close as you say, and all that happened, and you waited here for me, i must be special. You must be worth it," she told her with a small smile.
"But.. Im a girl," Alyssa mumbled.
"You said you're a lesbian?" Michelle said seeming confused.
"Yeah, but you aren't?"
"I don't know," Michelle shrugged. "I don't remember anything, so I don't know if I ever thought anything of you that way or any girl. I don't really know anything about it anymore," she told her shyly.
"But, what if your memory comes back, and you don't like me, then I would have had my hopes up for nothing," she mumbled a bit shyly. Michelle shrugged a bit sitting up and moving a bit closer to Alyssa. Alyssa soon felt the shy kiss on her cheek from Michelle, making her blush a deep red.
"I think I'm willing to risk it, if you let me get closer and learn more about you."
Ugh Alyssa...Can I... Can I do something?" She asked nervously, Alyssa noddedand smiled. Michelle sighed, then leaned into Alyssa so fast.
Michelle lipscrashed into Alyssa's lip and instantly kissed back, and they both enjoying themoment.
Michelle pulled away first, "I like you Alyssa, and thank you." I smiled and grabbed her hand. "I like you too.
She put her hand on Alyssa's cheek, "I promise to stay in love with you even when my memories will come back, and you have to promise to stay beside me no matter what happen, so we can live together."
Alyssa smiled and relaxed, "A promise is a promise.
